Maybe they want to give more courier business to Lazada.

My previous shipment of power supply and windspeed meter was rejected by Lazada forwarder service, now I am very wary of using their services.

This item does not support sells to our country so the consolidation service won't accept it.
You need to find 3rd part forwarder to send to Malaysia.

Relax lar, 3rd party forwarder can still send it to you.

Feels like your thing got rejected by custom and its on the way back to sender?
Sometime items like lithium battery, liquid, magnetic or event plants will get rejected. My item got rejected a few time due to battery or magnet.
Once the warehouse rejected because it contains battery.
Another time the seller contact me saying part of the item can't send due to it being magnectic.

Did you install aliwangwang (The taobao messager) in case the seller/taobao agent want to contact you regarding your parcel?

My experience is taobao direct delivery forwarder whatsapp me to ask for addditional payment due to package too heavy.

I use pos malaysia sending a broken test equipment weight 12kg back to china. It works.
I also use SF to send broken computer parts back to china for warranty, it also works.

In both cases the transport costs is really painful.

Pos Malaysia : took a week to reach china, no issue with customs but item stuck in customs for 2 weeks. Total time needed to reach seller is 1 month +.
SF : Reach seller in 3 days but need to pay customs rm100 extra for import tax. I send item back for rma also kena tax?

So if your item in not worth a lot then no point sending them back.

Ya... whatever I buy during 11.11 will be going to the ship. After that watch people whine about shipment issue for the rest of the month. hahaha

Can't use taobao's sea shipping? If you not urgently need the item.
Sometime I buy electronic power modules (boost/buck/SMPS) can't ship by air but use sea shipping no problem.

Oh... then its not generic electronic item.
Possible branded item or parts that has regional restriction.

Too bad u have to use 3rd party forwarder then.
Some 3rd party forwarder has sea shipping option which is a lot cheaper. RM3.55 / 500g. Need to wait 1 month tho.

18kg for rmb142 seems ok.
Looks like the rmb663.4 tax makes it so expensive?

The tax is calculated from the value of the item you buy. 6% I think.
Use taobao air shipping or 3rd party forwarder then dont have tax.

Air or sea shipping ?

With the current situation expect lots of backlog due to local courier. My sea shipment took like 3 week after kastam clearance/local courier pickup to reach me.
