I had 1 package arrived to me a few days ago but I have another one that I ordered earlier but its stuck in customs for like nearly 2 weeks now...is it because of Hari Raya Haji + Merdeka? But I'm so confused as the 'later' package arrived at my house.

I have been trying to contact customer service for this (after numerous times they tell to contact the forwarder who only understands Chinese) but they tell me, its out of their hands...I seriously don't know what to say about this. Its really stressful especially when no one can do anything.

That sounds like a scam. Some freaking foreign companies have been randomly calling people's houses to get personal information. I really recommend cross referencing the number to the customs office official phone numbers.
These foreign companies not only pretends to be banks, they also pretend to be various services or some local business.
I basically wasted their time for some 10 mins then slam the phone on them and finally they stopped harassing my house. Once in a while, I get some weird auto messages (said in our local accent, something about loans but our family never went with any loan)so never bothered to reply them.

Edit: Otherwise could also possibly be some corrupt customs officer...

No need hack, just randomly call people hoping that their target areas have something to do with you. That's why you need to cross reference the numbers.

I also had a case of a postman wanted to charge me extra for water colors, until I said I'll call his company 1st then he ran away... My 1st suspicions were a. Only oil paint is ever charged, b. He doesn't know under what section this Kastam tax is so I can search it.

Yeah, holidays...think only by the end of next week I get my package if this keeps up...

Well, I finally have my 1st ordered package.

Despite it being around or less than 2KG, they charge me for nearly 7KG with the box size around 50cm all around.
Stuff I brought, just some floating wall shelves.

Also the later ordered package that somehow arrived earlier was more than 3KG and not charged based on volumetric. This was the marble tray that arrived safely.

Because the marble tray was safe, I decided to get a mirror with a steel frame...we'll see what happens.

Yeah, also NO SST or no taxes for mine. It was around 150 ringgit.

Was there ever a service that refunds delivery fees? I've never seen that, eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Aliexpress, Lazada never refunds delivery fees.

Well, its just have the same status for a few days unlike the other stuff I bought.
Who knows what is actually happening...and it just had to be the most expensive item on the list I bought. Sigh...

Takes about a little over 2 weeks(at least), don't count the weekends.

My package arrived!
So this means, during sales you should wait like 2 weeks before sending then wait another few days before any update and when finally updated, will say it has arrived to Malaysia and finished customs then add another day for shipping to your house.

Also 2 of my items arrived with missing parts, can I just ask the seller to send me the missing parts to the consolidated shipping address like before?

There doesn't seem to be a detailed FAQ about missing items.
Its basically just contacting the seller, asking for a replacement and sending over to the warehouse.
It doesn't say anywhere about contacting the warehouse. Only if the item has wrong details that it could get misplaced.

Edit: Ehh, seller gives a new tracking number but how I do use this number??? Its a bunch of digits with no letters whatsoever and I can't seem to track this on my account. Hmm...

Hmmm Currently I have an item that was updated that it arrived at the warehouse but then about 45 mins later...it said it just arrived at another post office

Depends, if you're caught during a massive sale, it can be as slow as sea shipping.
I tried to avoid this but a certain seller took too much time to 'restock' and I ran out of 'warehouse days'.

I finally got my stuff and it was Skynet,
It even had some missing parts from the last shipment delivered to me. But that's because I had another item to buy from that shop.
I certainly would like to know more about 3rd party shippers, in case another missing parts shipment arrive next time.

But you will need to off the Google Translate at this point as some stuff doesn't get shown. And use another Internet window (firefox or chrome) for the translation as these staff don't know English. You might also have to use your smartphone(for the capture image function in Google Translate) at certain times because not every text can be highlighted.

If you want to contact the seller in your smart phone(taobao app) instead,
From the message(bubble text) icon, one of them should be the seller, select it and you can type a message into the bar (at the bottom).
Screenshot anything you don't understand. Use Google Translate to translate the screenshot(camera icon > picture icon to go into your saved screenshots) as the text cannot be highlighted, then reverse the translation(Chinese to English function) function to translate you messages to Chinese.
Copy the translation, go to the taobao app and paste the translated message (paste function appears as you tap on the message bar)
