Is it normal for ASX not to unlock automatically once the engine has been shut down? (after pressing the central lock button)

I'm using the FL 2WD Hi-Spec.

I remember someone posted here before and I seem to experience the same thing now.

Don't you guys think the headlamp is a bit on the low side? I mean it's too low on the ground, even when the leveler is adjusted. I had to bring up my headlight from time to time in dark roads. Any way to adjust this manually?

Anyone got any solution for that lousy Clarion AX1 player? (Enhanced ASX)

Now the GPS keeps looking for signal like foreverrrrrr sad.gif

Feel like screwing them up and down. Would upgrading the firmware ourselves could solve most of the underlying problem? How I wish we could install Waze in that player.

My car is like 9 months old (enhanced ASX).

Lately, been having issue whereby the front hood can't even be opened! When I pull the opener, there will be no reaction nor any 'click' sound and if I apply any extra force, the opener would have broken.

I have to ask someone to press the front hood inwards and I will pull the opener concurrently, only then it will open. Dayumnnn.

Yeah, I almost did the same. That is when I decided to drop by to the nearest mechanic (as it was Sunday) and he was perplexed too. As a last resort, he was the one who told me to pull the handle as he was pressing inwards on the hood the same time. That's when the handle 'clicked' and the hood was opened.

I will drop by SC either tomorrow or the day after.

The SC that I went to seemed to have scratched my player (Clarion AX1 - ASX 2015 Enhanced). However, they seemed to have denied it and claimed that the scratch had been there even before they touched my car.

I'm planning to ask them for a replacement since the useless Android player is having lots of other problems - slow startup, hang, reverse camera stuck, GPS not working and etc.

How easy it is for us to ask the SC to do a replacement?

I tried to update the Clarion AX1 using a manual firmware that I download from the net.

When I tried to update, it mentioned that "this is a non-standard player and I have to go to SC". Damn!

I'm also reaching 40k service soon and I'm thinking of forcing them to change my Clarion AX1 Android player - It is tooooo problematic.

- GPS doesn't display much locations
- Reverse camera displaying when driving normally
- Volume completely turned off
- Slow loading

Did anyone managed to cut off the handbrake sensor connected to Clarion player? Hope that sooner or later my family could browse the internet and watch movies whilst driving.

Hi, he cut off the wire that connects the player to the handbrake 'sensor' at the back of the player and that's all it takes!

I believe it will be, unless there are no issues with the player and there's no need for the SC to dock out the whole player to troubleshoot anything. smile.gif

Mine full tank is around RM120++ and can go up to 650km+. 2WD Enhanced year 2015 here.

As many ppl are saying here, it all depends on how you manage your RPM and how you are accelerating at times. wink.gif

What player is it? Clarion AX1? With AX1, I am able to bluetooth my songs either MP3 or via Youtube to the player.

How's the road noise?

I'm using Yokohama BluEarth and sadly, the road noise is still there.
