guys, got any list what to inspect upon receiving new car?
*
just check for cosmetic flaws - paint chips, dents, stains on fabric, etc

for the mechanicals, you have 5 year to find it. smile.gif

My car is like 9 months old (enhanced ASX).

Lately, been having issue whereby the front hood can't even be opened! When I pull the opener, there will be no reaction nor any 'click' sound and if I apply any extra force, the opener would have broken.

I have to ask someone to press the front hood inwards and I will pull the opener concurrently, only then it will open. Dayumnnn.

Just adjist the two rubber stoppers at the bonnet

It is near each headlamps. Turn the rubber knob around until u get it right

Ok thanks, will try that.
*
if it doesn't help, just go to the SC and ask them to adjust the front spring & lock mechanism

i also have the same problem last time until i almost bend my plastic handle near the leg

My car is 6 months old. Driver cushion Start having "ngek ngek" sound whenever I corner (due to my body lean towards one side during cornering). Is it normal?

I'm around 80kg
*
i got the same prob too

temporary solution? i squirt some lotion / leather protectant to the sides of the cushion

it stops the squeak for a while until it dries up

LOL

i think i need to take out the entire seat assembly and find out the culprit one of these days... but then afyter 3 yrs i still can't find the time. LOL

Hi Guys

Noticed my front sensor going haywire. If it senses blocking in front, it will not beep short, but one long beep until i need to restart my engine. the SC told me the sensor needs to be reset using the switch, anybody knows where is the sensor's switch???
*
you can disable the front sensor. the switch is just at your right, near the light levelling and ASC button. near where you normally slot in the key

Hi, I'm looking to change tires now and want to ask if the size below suitable for ASX? Which one recommend?

215/55/17
225/65/17
*
lower profile = good for aesthetics

thicker profile = more comfort

i'm usong 225/50/r18 and it's on the border of harsh. 225/55 would be better.

hi bro,

I heard someone said that if we change the tyre size from the manufacturer recommend, it will affect the ABS. Is it true?
*
LoL... no, it doesnt affect the abs in any way

Only thing is maybe your speedoneter will have slightly diff reading as the speedometer is calibrated to your existing tire circumference

I have checked this 3. all quote me that price

rhb 91000
zurich 88700
alliance 88000
*
well, i drove the car for 5 years liao, and the only time i need insurance is when i kissed somebody's ass

not worried about the insured or agreed value - that only matters if your car is stolen. so, just be very careful of where you park your car and all that

Yes ..  saw that one..  they never ask before it print out....

You replace pump/filter kit on 60k
*
actually you can refuse & ask them to amend since it's a standard "service menu".

but once you sign, they consider you agree with all the works description there
