Back then I queue for the iP5s in Machines KLCC, I came like 3AM, but found out two people already there and they got the 64GB gold all that Machines KLCC have for the launch date.
That is why I want to find a better place to queue.

you can either go machines gardens, not sure if they are still there as the mid valley ones closed down (probably due to alot of customer complains on their lousy service i guess)

else your other bet is maccity one utama, heard quite positive feedbacks from fellow forumers here on the past ip6/6+ launchings

but i would say not much tension (unless you are after the rose gold) for this time around as the demand and fever for it is not as much as last year.

I never believe those telco saying ship on 16 October... Yeah they ship on that day, should be say starting to ship, and follow the list, only the lucky get on time, others would wait for few weeks.

And my
Perception proves me correct, look at how they launch 6 last year. People wait for one month plus for shipping.
Preorder, pay first  and get the last, what's the point ....

So I only believe myself, queue and get

home button sticker bought online, i will open a wtbulk thread soon.

full body wrap gotta travel to taiwan to wrap, in here

tpu can just get for local sellers, previously i'm using spigen ultra capsule. just the right size and won't make the 6plus bulky.

there is a stall/booth in sg wang doing the full body clear skin.
they do a good job. been doing it for all my phone till now.
its located on the ground floor, at a corner, with a lot of bling bling skins on display.

i think a fellow forumer reported on the accessories thread that it has been closed down. The best bet now would be getting from www.bestskinsever.com and self install nod.gif

sweet lah, like that for sure 3899-3999 for the 64gb 6s+
*
nope, just checked apple msia, difference is RM500, and usually the 64gb model of 6 is same price as 16gb model of 6+...

so which means 6s plus base model 3599 + 500 = 4099

I also have this coming on the 9th this month. The DXO One. USD599. It's the same sensor used by Sony RX100 MarkIII, although no articulating lens for varying focal lengths.

It's totally of a different class compared to the Sony QX1 that I also have, all for one singular reason: DIRECT CONNECTION to the iPhone via Lightning port. The QX1 may have a Micro4/3 sensor, but the connection between the QX1 and your phone is Bluetooth/WiFi in nature and susceptible to lag.

USD599 may be hard to swallow, but it also comes with DXO Connect, DXO FilmPack and DXO OpticsPro Elite Edition, worth USD300 for free, so technically, the DXO One is really just USD299 in price with these free powerful software inclusion.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Oct 4 2015, 09:46 PM)
I could, but my word may not carry any weight around here. I suggest one better option: I'll let you try it on your iPhone and see for yourself how good it is. It's how I've been doing my iOS accessories reviews all this while: by letting others try it for themselves.

We did gatherings during those iPhone 3G until iPhone 5 days, and I bring the accessories for a "try" session so that attendees can be informed on how useful these accessories are before they consider purchasing. I grow tired of the AppleByte section generally, and the iPhone section specifically, after the moderating team here allow discussion and talk of jailbreaking and piracy run rampant during those days. Most, if not all of us have left the scene here, but not leaving iPhones and iOS, we still do Day-One iPhone <insert new version here> meetup gathering, because well, we get our iPhones on Day One, irregardless of where the phones were launch. When you've been good friends and family for more than 7 years, networking and helping each other to get ourselves new  iPhones comes without even asking sometimes. smile.gif

Participating in this forum now though, is still a chore, conversations here just linger around mundane stuff like rumors and conjectures only. Nothing solid or useful info to glean. Hence why we left and/or observe. Until someone decides to post something ridiculous, that requires "correcting" so that the FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) does not spread. wink.gif

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Oct 4 2015, 09:59 PM)
Not a problem. I had gathering attendee from Sungai Petani come down over for a meet. Just holler, I'm so free these days meeting up is so easy.

I can write a lengthy paragraph about how I feel about it, but purchaser-bias will always be there: I'm bound to like what I buy, and may not be inclined to post negative stuff on things I bought with my own money, right? Unless I get this as a review unit (and returned), then I may be able to be completely objective. I'll try my best.

I can already see one problem there though: keeping it connected to the iPhone, how to carry? Have to be very careful, especially if you're pairing this with a 6S Plus, because of the weight of the 6S Plus. Keeping it disconnected means having to flick down the shutter door, snap the Lightning connector in, log in using Touch ID, and open the app to snap photos. At first, that whole routine may be a bit slow as you're not used to it, but after a while, motor reflex should kick in and make it faster, so that you wont miss the shot you're about to take. Hopefully after spending some time with it, the body will compensate on the action on using it. wink.gif

We used to have this service on Sg. Wang ground floor before, then they sorta moved to LowYat Plaza on the 1st floor and then disappeared. Not using MOS coat but similar principle. Taking of the blade to the phone is kinda scary, but there are folks I knew who vouch by their meticulous handwork. Been to Taipei as well, and they had this service in Guanghwa and that little electronic mall near Taipei City Hall.

Did you try in your iPhone?
*
i can vouch for their precision in handling the devices, noticed their existence ever since i've been actively travelling to taipei and exposed to the world of wrapping service. At first i wrapped my phone at another stall but their cut out aren't as precise as mos coat. (was using iphone 5 black color back then ) and we all know for the notorious scuffgate i searched up and down until i found mos coat. been loyal to their service ever since then.

Each and every single device i own will definitely get them wrapped up whenever i had the chance to go to taipei. My next device to be wrapped are my n5, the upcoming 6splus and my ipad air 2.

You shuold give them a try if you happen to travel again to taipei soon bro.

Anyway I did share my review on their service in my accessories thread in here

true.... i am doing the same way like you..... "circle of friends who are ready to receive my electronics secondhand, although with the way I take care of my items, it might as well be brand new to them. For them, I even allow installment payments, which makes the proposition of buying items from me, even more seductive. But these friends have to be really close to me, else it's full payment.  biggrin.gif "

so i can upgrade every year, securing customer first  brows.gif

+1 on this. Also added benefit for my customers are my devices are always wrapped up, and put up with the best screen protector or case possible. thumbup.gif
