If you're just looking for clouds the Velocity will be fine. Flavour is gonna be a different story. Because the chamber is so big you might need very low resistance coils and high wattage.
The Stumpy is gonna be a lot easier to get flavour & clouds. Building a coil on it is super easy.

There's every advantage to SS wires. No complaints/scares of toxic stuff. Stiffer than nickel thus easier to work with.
Able to dry burn. Higher resistance than Ni/Ti thus requiring less coil wraps. Anyway if the postman will get off his butt I should get my SS wires on Monday. Will let you know the results.

Well it's just too hot for my liking. Even in TC I never gone past 420f and that damn top airflow is not doing me any favor. Flavour wise yeah, but I could get the same with my Magma and also my Velocity. Just need to close all the cyclops airhole and I'm good to go. But meh different people, different stroke. I had been searching for SS wire for over a year, since I read an FT guy saying it gave cleaner flavor than Kanthal.
Found SS welding wire & SS jewelry wire locally but I decided not to try it.
I bought the UD 316L SS wire from FT. Ultimately I'm looking for 317L SS which is more corrosion resistant. 317L was repacked and sold as G-Plat super competition wires at high markup. ( You can read the whole story on Reddit). I bought 26 & 28 awg. Should have bought 24awg as well for single coil attys. Or I'll just twist the 28s.

Added novelty bonus: Non TC mods usually fire down to 0.2 ohm. TC mods fire up to 0.3ohm. Build an SS coil in between 0.2 to 0.3 and you'll be able to fire it in any mod.

The only reason they told me was that they dont believe the declared $20 value by FT and wanted to see the actual invoice

Anyway the test with the SS wire failed. Burnt the cotton in every 'dry cotton burn' test. Gonna have to wait for a mod thats made for it. Pretty surprised that the SXK Zero clones were able to fire SS wires in TC. The UD 316L wires is not the best either. A short dry burn discoloured the wire.

Hahaha... I called the post office to check and they found my packages. Said that I can come pick it up. Arrived there 15 mins later & they told me 'system down'. Told me to come back next day. I got pissed so they hurriedly went to search for my stuff!

No offset adjustment available on the D2. Whats surprising is the different resistance readings in power/Ti/Ni mode. I started with the lowest temp and joule setting and it already burnt the cotton.

Hi guys. Anyone of you using Joyetech eVic-VTC mini? Do you experience 'spitting'(quite a number of liquid form flavour coming out of the tip while you take a puff from your vape)? The Koopor might be able to run it since theres quite a lot of settings. The SXK Zero has nickel purity settings. Yep, see if your brick can do it.
