I'll spell it out for you since you seem rather naive, in 1,2,3 steps.

1. Before even asking a girl out, get to know her a little first. That way, you can source out 90% of the gold diggers.
2. In the case when the chick is drop-dead awesomely pretty, consider the first 2 meals as OPEX. Ask her out for a meal, and pay for it.
3. If on the second outing the girl still allow you to pay without saying anything, it is your call to whether to continue asking her out.

Simple as that. And really, how much will you actually lose? RM 50 in all?

But given your current situation, I doubt that you will be able to get many girls, or at least the girls that you want as girlfriend material. I'll be brutally honest here. You need to get rid of your 'stingy' aura. Girls pick these up a mile away. You can be stingy, but don't, for the love of god, ever show it in the first few dates. It's the same as to us, we always have our gold digger radar on.
