I'm appalled that you guys claim to know cendol does not know cendol got 2 versions. 1 is drink version the other is liquid version. Both has same ingredient that is santan & brown sugar. The difference is one is served in shaved ice the other premixed liquid in ice cube. More variants comes with glutinous rice or peanuts version. Malu la you guys.

I understand why the confusion started by Ts because some stalls make fusion stuff from cendol and ABC. You order ABC buy get slivers of cendol inside kind of deal.

ABC is a mixture of artificial syrup coloring along with cream corn, kidney beans and evaporated milk. It's pretty awful to me. Used to like it but not anymore, feels like you're eating colored sugary water once that damn thing melts

Cendol on the other hand, is much more simple and elegant IMO. Just a mixture of gula melaka and coconut milk along with the trademark....err green stuff and cincau. I always ask for less sugar for health reasons.

BUT I found out something as well. If you ask for less sugar, you can really taste that coconut milk without having the sugar overpowering it. A nice balance of that rich coconut taste along with the sweetness of gula melaka
