in the next 5 days the comp is going to run wavelab 5.0 and doing audio recording and format conversion etc. i can't afford it to crash/reboot in the midst of recording because i can't re-record the stuff. once its gone its gone.
Temperatures:
idle:
cpu: 20C (air con), 25 (non-air con)
ram: n/a
chipset: 43C (not affected by air con)
full load:
cpu: 28C (air con), 38C (non air-con)
ram: n/a
chipset: 47C (not affected by air con)
now... should i leave this alone or clock it a bit lower?? the speed difference if i clock it lower is quite significant i.e. slower. thanks
