QUOTE(Quincy @ Dec 3 2006, 01:41 PM) Nice 1. I already got two continuous WW on AU on m5 chart on last friday. I get like 11 pips for each waves so total 22 pips. I know its not that much but considering smaller timeframe and i entered late on the first ww and exited early on second ww Woot ... 22 pips is not bad at all. It's 5 min timeframe ... Attached is two ss. 1 of it is the zoom in of the WWs blue line = 1st wave. red line = 2nd wave. To anyone interested, Below.. I attached my Malay forex trading tutorial for beginners who got lost in the middle of various popular indicators. This is one of my fav method and it has no indicator. Just candlesticks and trendlines. Hope it can be useful to anyone out there. This tutorial is just about trading. No guide on installing Marketiva/Metatrader. Attached File(s)

QUOTE(Quincy @ Dec 3 2006, 05:16 PM) That tutorial is ok, but not recommended for newbies. (should put there pls read babypips first If I remember correctly .. mouteki try to profit from trendline breakout.the strategy supply and demand is almost like mouteki. This one actually trying to make money as long as the trendline is not broken e.g current trend is going strong. There's no strategy for trendline breakout in this document .. The idea is to help newbie make small but recurring profits in their trades (bullish reversal in a bullish trend happens frequently). IMO, that's the easiest place to make profit. QUOTE(Quincy @ Dec 3 2006, 08:10 PM) I never says that it is exactly as mouteki Hehe copy that. Its just that the trendline, supply and demand concept are almost the same i think. Havent finish yet reading mouteki, just a quick review I heard NFP is this week ? Gotta get ready for it. Gonna see alot of action. This post has been edited by luqmanz: Dec 3 2006, 10:04 PM |

QUOTE(Quincy @ Dec 4 2006, 01:36 PM) Your WW failed to reach point 5. Ouch ... Ive noticed if you draw trendline from line 2 to 4, and then compare with line 1-3, the 2 trendline (line 1-3 and 2-4) are not converge. What you draw is broadening line. Well broadening line do work, but the percentage are much lesser than converge line. I see you are using interbankfx ... how's the quality of service ? ... what's the overnight interest policy ? |

Lol there were many WW candidate last night but none of them show strong entry signal...
But anyway Fibonacci is really magic ... I entered this position at 1130 pm ... when I woke up this morning..the target profit reached. Anyone learning to trade, make sure Fibonacci retracement is in your syllabus. Target profit in Fibs is usually 61.8% and 161.8%. In strong market it may reach 261.8%. Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(ao_othman @ Dec 8 2006, 12:40 AM) hi there, i am interested in forex and ive just started reading about. can any of you help me with what does this sentence mean? Pip is the smallest increment/decrement in any pair. The minimum fluctuation of an exchange rate is referred to as a "pip". For USD/JPY and EUR/JPY, a pip is equal to 0.01 and for the other exchange rates, a pip is equal to 0.0001. thanks in advance Example GBP/USD = 1.9397 (current price) GBP/USD = 1.9399 (old price) The difference is 2 pips. Any increment/decrement will be in the multiple of 0.0001 which is 1 pip. For USD/JPY ... 1 pip = 0.01 QUOTE(ao_othman @ Dec 8 2006, 09:50 PM) omg, im seeing live now GBP/USD shooting up. can any1 explain why this is happening? from roughly 1.9558 to 1.9631 and rising. very sharp. The NFP news brought the pair down .. but the unemployment news that came 15 mins after that showed bad news for USA so the pair shot up. |
