was just wonderin' whether there would be any skateboarders gathering here .......gather and skate kinda thing
cos' i'm like wonderin' whether i could tamper with this interest of mine which i left away at the age of 9 .....just learned how to stand and brake, and that was it...! a shame realli, neva realli sat down to pick it up again |

hey guys, i got back into skateboarding again.
since im working fulltime now, me and my gang can only skate at night time after work. wut time we skate, u might ask...well...around 11pm onwards  our current skate spot at the moment would be Tmn Paramount Skatepark (cuz it's the nearest to us) |

But I need some friends to skate with , and to learn skating. I have friends who skate actually but currently they are busy with their college in another state. Anyone can teach me?!  after grad still skating but now when working gettin' a lil' bit slow... now usually skate at USJ 18 but planning will go to Mt Kiara Skatepark...  |

...stopped skating about 2 years ago,spent quite alotta money on it as well...but it's great fun!!..skated for about a year,all i managed to do in that time was kickflips,shove it and f/s boardslide..i can't even b/s boardslide  ....got a couple of memorable scars too,i sometimes still think of skating..but sold my skateboard last year |

well it depends on those kids. some like it tech some like stunts. im just not into stairs, they'll just hurts. but some kids like it dat way, just like stunt bmx. some do tech some do crazy stuff. i complain but i dont blame them.

I ain't a skateboarder but i go to shah alam often with my frens who are skateboarders and i do enjoy looking at them lol...
heres some pix from my last trip there on monday morn  line of skateboards...  fren ollie something down the 7-step stairs lol...  the board did a 360 barrel roll while he went down but i 4got the trick name though lol... ain't a skateboarder but fun to watch lolz... we usually go there together and they do their skateboard while me and some other ppl play at the bike park nx to it lol... the dude in the photo is also pretty good in biking though... heres a pic lol...    if u go to Shah Alam often u shud be able to know how huge is that farking gap i wonder whether can he do it on his skate lolz... wow...the shah alam park is so nice.... just now watch the Skateboard Best trick Xgames 13... where chris cole nailed the 360 double flip... it just make me wanna pick up skateboard again

atlast after 5-6 month..i got my time..actually always had time but malas the sad thing is it takes me 10-15 try to land a single kickflip.. damn..i used to land kicklip for first try or not more than 3 try..now, what the hell happened to me.. |

skateboard nowdays is not trend anymore..true that in year 1998-2005 is the most popular Xtreme sport in Malaysia..but nowdays ppl prefer playing futsal(popular sport now!),badminton,snooker or mayb squash in my campus...mayb the oldtimer skater's retired edi hoho pak din,amir,joe ipoh(coaching ppl i heard from fren)...but i was once skater in 1999-2004..ollie,big ollie,kikckflip,heelflip,shuvit flip,360flip,double kickflip(my fav ^^),swicth180 flip(another of my fav creation),boardslide,frontsideslide,kgrind..i use to play those kind of trick be4 but after broke 2 of my fingers..i stop playing skate and concerntrate on my study..hope 1 days skateboard era will come back as be4..love extreme especially skateboard and bmx flatland

juz like one skater named man-xtra... he's from jb...now he study at shah alam (if im not mistaken) but overall, they said s'pore skater is better than ours... so ejat, ur still skating??? if u come to shah alam..let me know... we can skate 2gether...im a bit rusty oredi... |

i've read REVOLUTION magazine (a skateboard mag) and i am very surprised when i read an article about a kid around 7 years old already do this skateboarding stuf seriously and he is a singaporean..surprisingly he already can make some sort of tricks such as kickflip and grinds (i think he is too young for that tricks)....
i wonder if teach my cousin (he is 6 years old) to skate...haha..maybe some day he'll be just like tony hawk or rodney mullen.... even tony hawk's son can do kickflip when was 4.. (my first kickflip is when i was 16)..... |

I only have a small budget..probably less than 100 but more than 50. I don't mind spending a little bit more..but I do not want to overspend till the price goes like RM300.

ur back foot need to pop , while ur front foot just slide as hard as u can... the more u slide, the higher ur ollie can be... as a precautions, try it on flat surface first.. |

How do I buy the bolts and nuts? They are getting rusty and I want to add on risers too. I can't add on the risers to my current board, because the bolts are too short.  |

I brought the board few years ago. Birdhouse brand, love it so much, rarely skate, ha-ha never want to scratch the paint .
The grip tape is still brand new, just the bolts are rusting. |

the imbi skatepark is fcked . If u want a skateboard go to cool element.
Just 180 u can get full set plus free grip tape but not recommended cause the bearing damn soft. plus the griptape sucks. |

And for your info, we have many vert skaters since the late 80's. It just that we don't have many parks that have vert back then and then now days the vert were wrongly shape and constructed. I mean take example for the VERT ramp at Kiara skatepark. The flat pat is to tight in between and the heights in 12 feet high. I mean for beginners at least u need 6 - 8 feet. 10 feet is for X-Games standards..but here is 12 feet...who wanna try it then...at least u need to learn from mini ramp 4 -5 feet...and then jump to 6 or 8..not double it to 12 feet. The kid Arina is young and talented but putting him at Asian X games is like a suicide. Coz Arina was 1st sponsored in Malaysia coz he's got at skatepark / street skating not vert. Even now he can play vert but as an experience mini ramp & sponsored skater. To me the way he play it still need to improve more and he's not even closed to an international amatuer level. But now he's competition with international pro. It's like seein MYTEAM soccer VS Machester....it's like a suicide mission...but offcourse lucky him can go there la...expereince is important but at least sent him to gain experience at his level like Japan vert competition or maybe in Europe they have vert for amatuers and non-pro contest... im surprised skateboarding is still around in malaysia. stopped right after came back from abroad due to hot weather and no one to skate with. anyhow good to see this sport being kept up.

well there is not much skaters can cari makan in malaysia , but we can still se some full time skater , like usher and fuad , u have to be super duper good in skateboarding to make it your career , anyway that is just my opinion...

when u want to do ollie, then suddenly ur finger cramp... still consider injured... btw, how to ollie or do trick using fingerboard |
