This very general question/problem. Some background info may help like what application is running, can browse while Tuotu off or not etc. Here some possible answer...

Maybe you set open to many MAX 1/2 TCP connection in Tuotu general setting. Please set limit to "8". From my experience using those P2P clients, it really doesn't matter much and 8 is a good figure for about 10 task running in Tuotu. Too much, you saturate and kill eg. "cannot surf internet when running situation".

Too many task, upload given, connections by P2P at once also can cause this.

Please have try the software "cfospeed", maybe can help. It help shape, queue your http packets priority and maybe can browse better.

tried latest beta version, so far so good (ran for 12hr++ without problem) and the http concurrent download along with BT is working, now at the max spd

Furthermore, can anyone enlighten me how to make my Tuotu shows the proper Chinese characters. I followed the instruction given in this thread but to no avail. I can only see ?????? in my Tuotu. By the way, I'm using Windows 2000.

The TCPCrack doesn't seems to work for me? Couldn't change any setting at all.

ok, let me clarify 1st, it is not that i will get full spd at all time, and it is hardly to escape frm tm p2p throttle, just that the spd will still maintain >15kbps with this latest version and full spd at ~60kbps during late night which i believe tm ceases p2p throttle. the v3 version allow user to download frm emule & http concurrently during bt, so it could be the reason why v3 is faster than v2. my setting is still the same as what thread starter proposed, u can refer to 1st few pages.

The current stable version still works fine for me.

fine meaning u get max spd at all time with v2? u r lucky or with vpn?

izzit possible to set tuotu as default download manager?? just like one-click will pop out the tuotu download task..

Uhh simple question here. How do i move the queue up and down the list? And can i force start? I don't understand the interface anyhow. I did use it before though and now i'm using the latest beta. (v3.0.96)

go CONTROL PANEL --> REGIONAL & LANGUAGE OPTIONS --> ADVANCED --> LANGUAGE FOR NON-UNICODE PROGRAM

For Tuotu Users....

I noticed many tuotu users can't view chinese words on their tuotu.

Solution....
1. go> control panel> Regional/ language options> Advanced> select "Chinese PRC" from the list.!!

(NOTE: For those users who didn't "chinese prc" inside the list", please insert ur XP CD, beside "advanced" tab, u should see "language". Under it, tick "install files for East Asian" then click Apply.)

tuotu v3 is nice.. the download is fast with the concurrent download (BT+EM+HTTP)..

yeah, even is beta, it's very stable
