So I wud choose EVERLAND tooo hehe, the CABI is inside everland rite? Hahah me…influence by CABI CF (SNSD & 2pm).. but I’m afraid to ride the rollercoaster…hehe QUOTE(sfwong1 @ Jun 9 2010, 06:46 PM) nejin when are u going to backpack to korea??? lol donno whether can join u backpack anot... cos my friend not really sure wanna go anot... i just simply asking if its a no u can just decline no hard feelings,hehe I’m going there by end of September from 29/09 and return on 08/10…sure can if u don’t mind…I’m going with my female fren…only 2 person..the more the merrier..hehe and I’m taking Thai Airways…hui_yin>> like that if winter i sure die la i think Actually I’m kinda LOST where about to start when reach there…I’ve summarized a few places…donno wants to start first…I have a penpall from korea..but a bit hard to ask her since he is busy travelling around the world and rite now she just going back to korea from KL due to unbearable of the hot weather…and she will be coming back on sept… I’ve read at KTO that we can request for a volunteer guide (wic is totally free but has to pay for their foods, traveling pas etc…) QUOTE(Seng007 @ Jun 10 2010, 09:36 AM) Wa…envy u la seng... |

@Nejin :
Hi~ Em.. these days the weather in the afternoon is similar to malaysia.. very hot T___T but at least not humid, so won't sweat as much~ autumn.. for me i go around prancing in short pants lah but its just me ( i love cold weather lol) but i would recommend a light jacket and long sleeved shirts.. maybe jeans or trackpants (comfy!) will do as well ^^ CABI (which i assume is caribbean bay) is not inside everland, however they are located at the same area.. which is about 1 hour+ away from the city lol. you will have to buy two separate admission tickets though as they are separate parks .. the wooden rollercoaster at Everland is the highlight of the park! i waited two whole hours for it . haha.. and i went on a week day some more! goodness .. @LoveBite Haha.. im not Seoul master lah.. infact i've only been to Seoul twice.. If you sponsor me my stay and train ticket there i will become your guide geh X) hahaa.. but yeah, if you can make a trip down to Busan, i would gladly take you around ^^~ What is your itinerary like ? Include Busan? |

anyone going to seoul in the near future pls pls pls survey the location of the malaysian embassy as well. u will need them when you're in trouble
caribbean bay is nice.... the water aroma so nice and relaxing. though everytime i was in that area, i only go to everland and play and play. by the time we're finished, too tired to go and take a bath already. take the shuttle bus and sleep till u reach home. for rock fans, sorry to disappoint you but there's not much club that caters to rock though you can occasionally spot some acoustic band playing near insa-dong or hongdae. club music is a different matter, they're better than malaysia by a longslide. some more they have club night every last friday of the month where 10K (Korean Won, not MYR!!!) will give you access (plus one drink) to most clubs in hongdae if you want to go hongdae of course there's an exit called Hong Ik University. instead, take the newer brown line (line 6) and get down at Sangsu and walk slowly towards the club area. this back way is less crowded and you might spot either a coffee shop with overgrown artificial moss (called midi soir - their coffee and cake are not bad) or a restaurant called penang (sadly the owner is not malaysian). lots of snack to eat on the way as well so during winter this route is the best (since food is the best during winter) oh, and 10K = RM30 questions? |

Yeah i agree with Everland and Caribbean Bay .. haha ! Totally like knock out in the bus cos the bus trip is so far away! But if you plan to go to both everland and caribbean bay (you would probably need two days) you can stay at the resorts there.. it won't be very expensive either but need pre booking coz the last time i went (weekday and off peak) also full .___.

LOL! I think this thread would be helpful to me .. I'm planning a trip to Seoul toooo! Still waiting, and hoping that AirAsia would launch its new destination ..
I intend to go for backpacking with my friends, is is advisable to do so? I'm an intermediate level student for Korean language, so I think, normal conversation should be alright =p |

just got back from Korea. love, love, love it! i wish to go there again but maybe not in summer since the weather is almost similar to KL. Seoul was really hot but Jeju was nice. they're having a world cup fever right now la.. everywhere there's always add on world cup and their korean football team poster.
someone mentioned Everland? i tried the T-express roller coaster ( the wooden one), bloody hell it was awesome. rasa jantung tercabut beribu-ribu kali lol.. but i enjoyed every single second of the ride. it looked big but the ride felt so short. Everland is seriously a must. got a chance to watch Jump as well. Hillarous! wish to go to Korea again! |
