hihi. i'm new here. reli love travelling. tot of goin to korea end of june.. so wil b beginning of summer. any recommendations? cuz al i c is winter, spring and autumn except for this post. kindly help me out here!! thx alot!

many people do not prefer to go during summer because the weather condition is almost the same. but there are a lot to do in Korea during summer.

advantages traveling to korea during summer
1) the weather is similar so you dun need to buy extra winter clothes which u seldom get to wear it unless u travel alot
2) sales- summer sales is on and most of the clothes suits our needs
3) summer splash and festivities. google it on Korean National Tourism Organization and you can find a variety of summer splash activities, water sports and festivals which you can enjoy.

I m with Andrekua...those pakaged tours really leave me fuming every time.
These days I go with our own group, DIY to fit our requirement...If we have enuf numbers, it's much more value for $$..

good food, no or minimal designated shopping stops (tourist traps), max cultural experience, we( not the guide) call the shots for how long we want to stay at a particular place.

Going to do 4 days Jeju plus foc 4 days shanghai next month.

interesting plans.. how is it coming along? really planning to go?

i am not sure about travel package but if you book MAS online, only RM700 one way. Total about RM2046. Cheaper than SQ online SD950.

Make sure u go to YongPyeong for skiing.

I went to Yong Pyong once and Phoenix Park once... couldnt really tell the difference since I am not advance skiier.. only tried their beginner slop.. i think Yong Pyeong is better for beginners
