 Black Screen After Booting, Windows 10

i just finished the upgrade process (still stuck on the black screen) sad.gif, now on my way to do the clean installation...

@_)@()%@%(!!!!....still the same result, my hours are gone and so do my sleep, but the solution is nowhere near, now I just finished clean install the windows by upgrade it first and then I reinstall the driver, but after all my windows still getting the black f$$$$$g screen everytime I boot, even when I close the lid and reopen it, the black screen appear,, i need to wait for a long time for that...man, I dunno what to do anymore,, I'm waiting for your guys answer then only I'll revert my windows back,, shieet... rclxub.gif icon_question.gif icon_question.gif cry.gif cry.gif

aiyo :/

from what i have read, the cause to the delay is due to amd power saver feature. have you tried the registry tweak? it's done by running regedit, and search for the keyword enableULPS and set every DWORD to 0. there are a few of them so make sure you repeat search and edit until regedit says no more matches. also, run the laptop at high performance power profile.

if this doesn't work, i have no idea what to do also. it's better to revert to old os for now imo.

edit: you can also try to check out the hp dv6 thread, https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2465441 (check the latest few pages). some users have upgraded to w10 successfully. they seemed to disable system restore point entirely before installing leshcat drivers.

you mean this one? pc tweaks?...I just click on them,, it have 5 or 6 sumtin like that I'm not sure,,what it does that, It just clear the registry,,,i download it for my cousins laptop,,to put the windows in best performance...but whenever I use it, the black screen doesn't go,,,

no. i don't know what that is. for the specific registry tweak for amd gpu in your case, i have stated the steps for you to follow in the previous post.

after the clean installed i try to resest my pc, and guess what??? black screen no more....but then suddenly when i'm all excited and using the pc, the screen flashes automatic,,,i knew it at that time windows trying to update it automatically online,, and i thought it's ok, and i didn't do anything,, and GUESS WHAT??? BLACK SCREEN REAPPEAR!!!...my question is how do i stop the automatic installation after i reset my pc??,,, after i reset, when i go to device manager all the driver has been installed, including the display driver, both my amd and intel gpu is functioning,,i use the reset and clean everything option..

Im not sure why but i have clean installed like 4 of my devices and download the driver via windows update, everything is ok.

Today, i tried the driver from dell n nvidia, i got like 20-30 secs black screen on boot.

 

Change to:

0.0208sec    0.60    6 queries    GZIP Disabled
