 Managment office require RM2000 renovation deposit, RM100 is Managment fee???

1) RM100 if for them approved your reno, inspection after reno.

2) As for lift maintenance, they explaining it wrongly to u now. As per Strata Management Act, all strata developments now will be divided by the term "shared unit". Developer will hire a licensed surveyor to do land survey measured in meter sq. Then subdivided it as per formula in the act. Example, say your unit + parking = 200 shared units after using formula to calculate. Then maintenance is set by considering the overall budget for your development divide the total shared units. Say u end up with RM2 per shared unit. So your maintenance fee is 200 x RM2 = rm400. As for the lift, the land surveyor will calculated your shared unit based on a table in act showing with lift or not lift as well as aircond lobby or not. Your shared unit will later be submitted to land office to be shown in your Title.

Also, take note when u have more accessory parcel such parking lots, your maintenance fee is higher as it will be added to your total shared units.
