it is the same... you have to understand in malaysia we have a spoon feeding education.. everything must be handed out to the students... if not the student die... oversea is different.. they teach you what you need to know.. ie.. basics.. and then expect you to be able to apply it to advance level.. for example.. here they will give you all the figure like gravity = bla bla bla.. mass equals bla bla bla.. distance equals bla bla bla.. and you just plug it into the equation... oversea they will teach you so.. but in exam you have to hunt for the value.. they will throw in some hints here and there and you have to use logic to figure it out..

i give you an example but biology ah.. coz i remember that one the most.. i was top in my class for biology when i was in malaysia.. so i can tell you i definitely know my stuff well... over there.. they teach you this compound can kill what oganism and stuff... if you got this infection you use these these these as they are sensitive to it.. of coz we have to remember most of it in our head.. and when the day of exam.. practical exam..... the qs i got was.. a fish has an eye infection (i study human one... and some how i suppose to know some about animals... but fish is definitely not in my syllabus.... but when i dispute after exam... the lecturers say i should know my "biology" well and fishes are included).. they say the fish eyes swollen and shows me a picture (i dint know we suppose to recognise the characteristics of infections as well) and the lecturer ask me to make "something" for the fish and counsel on how to use it on the fish... of coz my basic is quite well... and i manage to whip up an antibiotic eye drop on the spot without much of a problem... and i got 30% full for it.. and then comes the next part.... how to give it to the fish.... and i think think think.. and i said take out the fish and just drop it on the eye and wait for a while for it to sink in? and i kena red card terus... -70% for wrong application and another further ban for the next exam coz i "killed" the fish... damn.. that was a harsh punishment..

of coz i told you i dispute the qs.. but the lecturer says i need to know the realms of animals as well.. and i argue but i am studying the realms of human... and he argue i am in "advance level" type of biology.. not those kindergarden.. its uni level... i should know them as well.. at least some basics.. and when i try to argue again he actually says.. look young man.. how stupid are you? you catch a sick fish out of its habitat.. you got a brain right? and worse you drop the eye drops on the eyes of the fish? and then what? wait for it to sink in like 5 minutes? why dont i pull you into the water and rub some eye ointment on your eyes and let you hang out in the water with a beer for 5 minutes... you are here to kill the fish or help the fish? how stupid can you get? you deserve the ban for the next exam.. and i terus speechless... and i ask him for the answer and he says.. go and find out for yourself.. what age are you? 3?... you are a uni student and the very basic you can do is find an answer to a question that can be found daily happening in the world.. of coz on the way out of the practical room... i was so sad but when i walk past the next examination room........... i laughed quite loud.. the guy inside was scolded coz he also killed a fish.. but instead of eye drops.. he got a pessary and he say find the fish's genital and insert it in.... the fish was a gold fish (at max 5cm long) and the pessary is 2.5cm long... and i laughed so loud coz its obvious that is wrong.. and the fish confimed KO.... and... thats a real story... and that is how oversea ppl expect you to use "your brain".. of coz you dont have to worry now as they will help you along the way and they will train you to use your brain and be more logical and common sense.. not like local one where they tell you think A think B and if C happens which is outside of what they teach you... you blur....
i agree.. i do quite well in my studies... but yet i still fail in life and cannot even kao miromiro  .... what a failure i am
