If only we have stores dedicated to bringing in mechanical keyboards locally just like the audiophiles have them, our life would've been a whole lot easier.
*
You are expecting too much, really.
Many bringing Topre in the past experienced great loss. Now you can see DAS and other great brand in here already but less demand.
At the end, these brands still will pull out from the local. sad.gif
Mechanical keyboards are small market.

We audiophiles used to had a very rough time with the audiophile market too. But it's growing bigger right now thanks to a lot of companies creating more affordable yet high-quality audio equipment.

It's probably because people think it doesn't worth the money to spend on a keyboard (or anything, really). You're probably going to have to spend at least RM300 for a quality mechanical keyboard, or at least that's how I see the current market. (I am still new to this lol.) Same thing with headphones, I had people saying the same thing over and over again, "What's the difference?", until they actually tried them for themselves.

Well, I think I'm going way out of topic now.
By the way, I saw the gamer set keycaps in your StoreUni website with pictures showing QWER keys, but actually doesn't have them. Pretty disappointed.  sad.gif
*
We (other veterans as well) import those Topre which cost more than RM 800 and above to thousands of ringgit.
Decent mkb all cost more than RM 400 and above, like import a China-edition of Filco cost more than RM 600.
Too much cost involved in there. You need pay >10k and above to stocks limited small amount of keyboards.
Well, at the end, hard to sell as well. Such low ROI, and if wrong step, then seller may need to sell organs to pay debt.

You meant this 1?

Today received a great parcel from Ainuddin. Topre 6.0x PBT Spacebar.
The color is highly accurate compared to original ABS spacebar. Superb build quality.
Surface is coarser and more textured compared to normal PBT. nod.gif

Guys,

Version 2 of HHKB Type-S Typing Sound released. Probably the last version I released.

Total time spent on this was ~24hours for re-constructing and adding features. Visual and audio experience.

Supported by web browser. Please use your keyboard to test keypress instead of mouse click. laugh.gif

I want to thank YongJK for the sound recorder (Zoom H1).

Enjoy~ link below

Hmm, not working on Microsoft Edge on Windows 10? Or was it my internet too slow to load the sounds? lol
*
Sound just 278kb only. The sound only registered if you press keys on your keyboard.
If touch screen or mouse click on the keys, there will be no sound (because I muted it). smile.gif

I only tested on Safari and Google Chrome only.

Edit: Not working in IE in Win 7.

Im not sure. Some veteran i met b4 cant fix it(some guy said he's a veteran on lyn forum in kuching). He said something about led lighting up and some doesnt and it's better to not fix it.
*
I believed the veteran don't want to take risk on something that he can't 100% fix it.

Any veterans want to give advice or solution to this board?

Filco Majestouch 2 TKL. Choose the one without LED.
No need to worry LED failure. Highly recommended.

What are you guys opinion on Poker 3?
*
Poker3 is pricey, but if you can afford then it's ok.
Otherwise, will recommend KBParadise V60 then Poker2.

QUOTE(Kaka23 @ Nov 16 2015, 07:15 PM)
many keys not there.. so need to program on the available keys
*
By default, Poker3 provided the all keys like in full layout.
The downside is you needs additional Fn keys to trigger such keys like F1-F12, arrows etc.

If you feel the keys not suit you or you wish stronger remap/script options...
You can use software to remap your keys to suit your daily use. I recommend AutoHotKey.

Announcement

Guys,

MMKB T-Shirt Groupbuy delayed for extra 1 month since the payment is done.
The groupbuy should finished by last month, but dragged to this month.

I have a good news, and a bad news for those joining MMKB T-Shirt Groupbuy.

The good news is, T-Shirts was finished production. I received all the T-Shirts already today. I will post out the all pictures by tonight.

Bad news.. The bad news, I under-estimate the cost of the T-Shirt last time (as the manufacturer increases the price and charged me GST). sad.gif
So, those joining the groupbuy will need to fork out a little extra money for this.
I will pm all joining this groupbuy 1 by 1 and arrange the shipping ASAP. smile.gif

Many bad things happened, but thanks to all, we are able to finish this groupbuy.
Again, thanks to everyone joining this groupbuy.

Current stage of groupbuy progress:
Designing -> Finalizing Design (by voting) -> Joining/Ordering -> Payment -> Production -> Goods Received -> Shipping to Customers -> Groupbuy closed

@.@ when this happened?
*
Happened in end of June, we decided to make a groupbuy of MMKB T-Shirts.
Then we made a T-Shirt design contest in July. Few designs submitted to me. smile.gif
We decide the T-Shirt design by voting, everyone here welcomed to vote during that time.
After the design finalised, and those interested submit orders to me in August.

I pm lots of people asking whether they interested or not. (Not sure, those pm got reported as spam to mod or not. =.=)
After we hit MOQ for orders, we push to the manufacturer.

So, now November, received the T-Shirts and begin to ship to those participants.

To be honest, it's very hard to reach MOQ of 30 during that time. At the end, we hit 40.
