So how leh? After I've upgraded to win10 baru dapat duit terlajak dulu2 punya payment terlupa claim. Sekarang nak upgrade SSD of my laptop from 120GB to at least 240GB.

But im not sure the best way to transfer all those files and software/apps from one disk to another. Let alone win10. Any suggestions?

Clone or clean install, choose one.

Possible to clone on the laptop itself tak? Or do i need another desktop?

Clean install unlikely, i have too many customized settings on my apps. Particularly autodesk and corel stuffs. I may still do it, but not this year kot.

I think need desktop for that. Or may be you can try with SATA to USB3.0 connector or the optical hard drive bay thing, not sure if they can work but worth a try.

As for TRIM, it is a instruction of SSD to regulate the health of SSD, Windows 8 onward support it natively IINM.

fresh install windows 10. Create a bootable win10 image using media creator.

As your current device already activated as Windows 10 device, you can skip the product key, and the authentication server will validate and activate your windows automatically.

Cloning is like copying files to another drive, so both source drive and destination drive need to run lah abam. Unless your lappie can be slotted with 2 ssd drives then you need to use desktop And even if you have usb dock thing for reading external hd, don't bother with it if it's not usb 3.0
