Reframe Coffee Roasters

*******************************************************************************

Hi all coffee lovers!
I'm a home roaster from Penang and as a part of my own education on coffee roasting, I'm going to offer freshly roasted coffee to share with others at very affordable prices. This way, you get to try varieties at very nice prices, always fresh and roasted only when ordered and for me, I get to practice on roasting different coffees as well as getting quality feedback from you. Win win biggrin.gif

I will be honest and say that what I'm roasting on is not professional level drum roasters and may not achieve some of the flavors that other places can offer. If equipment is your thing, PM me for details.
However, on any cases that you really get a totally unacceptable bag, let me know and I will try my best to make things right. It will also be important for me as a learning process and to avoid a repeat in the future

So here's the list of coffees I have to offer. Quantities are of course limited so expect this list to change frequently as new ones come in and old ones go out of stock. I have profiled and cup the coffees personally so please contact me if you need more detail on each and I can advice which I think is suitable per your taste preferences

Package includes:
Sealed in food grade ziploc bags. Always marked with Roast Dates.

Dealing method:

Postage(poslaju) also available and depends on quantity
500g max - RM6.30
750g max - RM7.50
1kg max - RM9.50

Location of seller: Penang

Contact method/details:
Drop me a PM to order or WhatsApp me @ Meng (0125933572)

Or if you just want to talk about coffee that's fine too! Cheers

Thanks for being the first comment! smile.gif
Sorry but I currently have not developed any blends partly from the lack of blending knowledge as well as the small bean resource I have.
That being said, single origin espressos can be surprisingly good as well.

True, but for some reason, I don't get the creama when I use single origins. I prefer to go with the French press with single origin. Anyway, I got a months supply of beans today at the coffee and fringe festival, so I'm ok for now.

Lack by crema can be due to under development during roasting or perhaps you brewed too fresh.
Also, which blends have you been trying so far? Italians drop a certain % of robusta into their blend for the enhanced body and crema production
How I wish I could have been there last weekend too! Surely lots of good stuff. Anyways, thanks for dropping by and maybe next time smile.gif

Hi Meng,

I've been following the coffee lover thread for a while now, and just found this thread of yours, though a bit late coz I've now stocked up on 1kg of Coffex 's blend and frozen it in batches.

I don't mind trying some of yours, perhaps around mid-Feb. How are your single origins as espressos? Do you roast them differently for pour over vs espresso?

Great to see some Home Baristas in Malaysia with as much interest in coffee as you.

P/S : I'm in KL, shipped to anyone here before?

Actually most of my customers so far has been from KL region haha.
Yes, I do customize a little of the roast profile depending on filter/espresso but what I find is that there are some coffees that should be best brewed as filter or as espresso exclusively smile.gif I will guide my customers usually on that
Thanks alot for the interest and dropping by Jin. Just PM me or WhatsApp me anytime when you're up for a new batch and I'll roast it fresh then

Thanks for making me realize I didn't put it clearly what is the batch size per the price. Have updated it above smile.gif
They are all per 200g prices

Go ahead and whatsapp me on when you need them and if I happen to be roasting, I can include yours in.
I'm slowly moving towards a weekend roasting schedule since the orders are a little overwhelming to handle over the night on a daily basis

I usually advice my customers that coffee won't be as fresh after grinding. It will start losing it's flavor even after a few hours
However, I understand that not everybody has access to grinders so yes, I do provide grinding services as well thumbup.gif
