UTAR Open Day in Sungai Long today and tomorrow, more jam than normal Saturday.

Call them up before. But they said currently they are strictly for golf club membership only.

Not exactly FOC. Heard they need to buy tickets from UTAR admin before entering.

Launch name Victoria.., actual name after construction may change to others.... Like vistaria...

It should be opposite SL 6, there is hill and forest opposite Palm Walk 2.

How much the ticket ? I remember just a nominal sum in short they pay peanut.

Not sure if it is RM2 or 3 per entry. May seems to be peanut to you but means quite a lot to those cheapskate UTAR student

I know this is Sg Long thread but can I ask ... there is a road towards/into BMC from Aeon terus masuk straight uphill to Cheras Vista new launch area. Where does this straight road lead to eventually?

We normally combine Sg Long and BMC into one thread as both townships are very close to each other.

That road you mentioned will eventually connect to EKVE when this highway target to be completed by 2019, in other words, BMC connect directly with both Cheras Kajang Expressway (CKE) and East Klang Valley Expressway (EKVE).

I feel sorry for the ppl who are living along roads that will become exit points to highways. Pity them having to put up with all the pollution, cars speeding and what not.

Feel sorry for the Bkt. Sg. Long people and BMC ppl.

Most people who came to this area all wanted peace and quiet. Now they have to put up with the many Scu*m.

Ure welcome, i'll speculate abit. 450psf for 1100sf is about RM495k, it puts no downpayment assuming 10% discount. So tentative price might start around RM445.5k.

Sg Long condo psf increase from RM155 in 2010 to RM339 in March 2014, now RM450 psf.

what did i missed in v3? LOL! I better ignore reading those as it's too much information.

I am confused with the theme of the photo competition. BMC & SG Long. How to capture a photo of these two places in 1 photo? Should it be "or"? Let me go back and see if i have time to shoot some nice photo to represent Sg Long. Now in India eating curry and shaking head everyday. LOL!

i think it's behind taming indah 2

flora green resi or visitor hv to stop parking on the main road. 2 lanes is jam enough liao without becoming 1.5 lanes. probably other associations should send letters to their association 2to tell the guards to stop people from parking along the road.

I think Sg Long lacks the followings:

1. Commercial shop lots
2. Parking spaces
3. Shopping mall, with cinema
4. Broga hill feel! Maybe can turn Bukit Enggang to broga hill feel! Haha

I think there are just too many residential properties popping up in Sg Long for the past few years contributing to traffic jam in Sg Long. The traffic worsen with the new UTAR campus.

along left side of main persiaran sungai long. right side is traffic light turn to shell, utar, hsl. end up left side cars toeards inner sg long all jam up urghhh

IMO we need direct link to Silk Highway toward KL direction, with this link your first three wishes will come but your fourth wish may not materialise even before EKVE start, this highway will cut through Bukit Enggang aka Sg Long hill from Desa Budiman all the way to Twin Palms.

Very irresponsible Ahmad Zaki, how could they change the route simply?

I think the RA should complaint to DUN and request Ahmad Zaki to show the original route plan that is approved by Environment Department and State goverment..

With this type of developer I wonder they will compile with environment regulations required when constructing EKVE, my goodness I starting to worry whether our source of water in the forest reserve will be polluted.

Sungai Long RAs should assist Desa Budiman on this... Accumulate the force and implement something, together with DUN and other political party..

These political parties are in for their own self interest and flaut local council rules and defy authorities. They have been going around trying to commercialise the area so that they can have an "economic" interest. We all know too well of the monies being paid.

All these "community events" are to put on a good show that everything is well.

We are also all aware of many instances where this happens, eg. helping slumlords defy building codes, insurance requirements by packing 12-15 tar students into 2,000 sq feet property and in the end putting other peoples' life at risks. They are also using their "associates" properties and public roads as warehouse for their goods.

Everything is a hidden veil.

I know of a case where some DAP political member and Chairmain of Sg Long was told to STFU in a meeting with MPKJ. They had their tail between their legs and apologised to Dato. profusely in MPKJ.

MPKJ issue written ruling and till today these people defy the law. Enough said.

Thanks fore sharing, I always wanted to drive in at the desa budiman there, but scared anything happen if I go in alone

I used to go there when I moved to Sg Long in year 2010, the air is fresh and still got a lot of greenery then, don't know since when most trees chopped down, sad. Anyway until now you still see many cars park there for trekking in Bukit Enggang also known as Sg Long Hill.

Since you have moved to Sg Long since 1994, could you let us know whether SL 7 houses is the first double- storey terreace houses phase in this township, my friends told me so, I still wonder why not SL 1 or SL 2 but SL7.

Ask SHL for the reason why.
