basically most of the time, commonly, handphones are sold because they start to cause problems and 99% of it is because of the battery. So if anyone want to buy a second hand handphone, just take note. Ask the seller explicitly anything wrong with the battery.
Then again, buyer want to get a good deal, seller want to get rid of "faulty" handphone with good price...both stuck in the middle.
End of the day...what you pay is what you get. You can try getting refund from seller but it up to seller to honour his word.
