QUOTE(G-17 @ Sep 22 2015, 05:14 PM) So why are you smiling? Smiling, coz I know I'm not alone, ha ha ha... SMS from TM So in other words (aside from their shocking English grammar) they know there's a problem but don't know jack about fixing it. Brilliant. The problem has persisted for quite some time now.. their level of competency is shocking... |

UniFi just called me trying to ask me to upgrade my 10MBps speed to 30 - I told the phone operator to fix the App Store downloading issue first and he went like "Huh, apa tu?"

QUOTE(G-17 @ Sep 27 2015, 01:03 PM) Just received a call from a TM dude. He mentioned that the tech department said the issue was resolved and asked me to test. I tried out an app download from my purchased list and it was still slow. So I told him that and he said he'll report it for me and follow up. After he hung up, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting (current I.P = 175.140.x.x), and my regular download speed seems to have returned (or at least 80% of it, give or take). I'll wait a day or two to see if it's really back for good, or some temporary thing. Mine still bad, Shazam (65MB) is taking ages to update...*fingers crossed* |

Mine is inconsistent still. Some days the app update speed is acceptable and some days it drives you nuts.
UniFi VIP10 in Klang Edit: Oh, but I have to say that updating iOS (from version 9.0.1 to 9.0.2, about 60++ MB) was very fast. This post has been edited by attw: Oct 2 2015, 08:14 AM |

QUOTE(jin_akira @ Nov 8 2015, 06:27 PM) hi guys i haven't had the time to test out the downloads. how has it been for you guys? is it still slow or has the speed gone back to normal? QUOTE(G-17 @ Nov 8 2015, 09:12 PM) I'm in Singapore during weekdays, so only can test during weekends. Last weekend and these last two days the speed (updating apps) has been normal. Obviously, now that I've made this post and jinxed myself, I expect speeds to start crawling again My Touch ID has been erratic the past few days, so was thinking of restoring my phone to see if it will be better. But the thought of reinstalling all the apps with the slow crawling speed scares me, ha ha ha... |

QUOTE(G-17 @ Jun 9 2016, 02:47 PM) I think the problem has returned. App updates are crawling on TM connections (I'm on Unifi30). No issues with Celcom 4G or my Singapore ISP yesterday, so I don't think it's an issue on Apple's side. Must be Unifi. Checked their TMConnects twitter and it seems a few others reporting the same issue. As usual, TM is "investigating". Can anyone here confirm? Yup, the problem is back. |
