It was a bit faster booting and shutting on my pc with ssd but slower than previous o/s on another pc without.

Faster than my win8.1 though But in term of file transferring, I feel it consume too much resource though
Whenever I transfer a lot of files, my PC tends to response slower in other application

Secondly these days apps use ram to improve user experience. However a better upgrade is to replace hdd with ssd as boot drive. There is a big dfference between the same machine that runs hdd and ssd as os drive.

Yeah..my laptop also comes with 64-bit W7 home premium when i bought it in 2010...but i change it to W7 ultimate,better to me & now just got into W10..hehe But RAM is still not upgraded till now...huhu... Is laptop with hdd can use ssd as the boot drive..? Does it just plug n play or need some adjustment to change hdd to ssd? win10 is much heavier than win8.1.
but still better thab win7/8 in overall.
