QUOTE(YapChinHoong @ Nov 16 2006, 12:10 AM) Dunno why but everyone know that HP is hiring like mad. Are those for contract positions? Turnover for non-permanent staff might be higher. Anyhow HP shares are up like nearly 2x from 1year+ ago so they could be expanding operations.

Getting Started

|
It's a 24x7 shift job and need to be on stand-by. It's a technical interview, so for fresh grad, there is a test also. Mostly are contract basis. If you can stand the hours working at night till morning, then should be okay for you all. Got shift allowance also. Just my opinion... I think many of the seniors left or maybe got new projects, so they are now hiring more ppl thru agency like Man*****, E*****, E** and X**link. Ya, it's 12 hours shift rotation with work 4 days, rest 3 days and then, work 3 days rest 4 days. But your social life will be affected, especially if you are married or in a relationship, and your health will be affected as well.
