QUOTE(vios2002 @ Aug 14 2015, 03:11 PM) yes, initial was plan to used solid 3 inch wood for 3ft x 7ft = the cost was way too expensive how much was that wood option?then look for Quatz was pla to buy then come to the Quatz gloss was not as good as granite, lastly choose Galaxy Black granite. they have 15mm & 20mm on both Quatz & Granite. and your final choice for granite how much? |

If use tiles, make sure you use a good adhesive, as tile lapse you would find it start to go hollow if you have a lot of "chopping board" activities....

QUOTE(tmc @ Aug 12 2015, 04:54 PM) Are there big difference in price of the tiles ? - the basic type vs the higher end type the tiles don't actually cost much, it's the tiling fee that the tiler charging that cost a lot, coz they charge by per foot runIf the tiles are not so expensive, why is it some renovators say concrete top is actually more expensive than solid top ? Or they just not interested to do concrete top, that's why they make it more expesive ? |

QUOTE(ar188 @ Aug 26 2015, 08:13 PM) Yes if base on 2ft width should be this price but for custom size cost will be different... i got this Granite from Granite dealer price will be lower compare to kitchen cabinet manufacture or some showroom. I had check few place example on Black Galaxy outside selling range between RM40 to RM 60 sqf for normal tabletop but if island width bigger then 2ft will be cost alot more. |
