Epl7 and a6000 will add another hundred to thousands to change lens. Interchangable allows better portrait, scenery, macro, all sorts possibilities but cost a lot.

If you primarily just point and shoot, rx100 is plenty good. Scenery shots as well as low light is great. But zoom is limiting and the portrait shot is meh.

that's the reason i downgraded to rx100 camera variant because i don't have spare money to buy good lenses,
rx100 took sharper images compared to kit lens on interchangeable camera  biggrin.gif

But if take a look at rx100 shot like in flickr, just feels very point and shoot....ky. Because of sensor size and short zoom there literally almost no subject separation from background. A6000, the kit is meh but paired up with 30 or 50mm prime will see big change.

But of course really just depends on your artistic style. A6000 is rather expensive piece of gear with subpar kit lens. Other alternative like sony a5100 or nx3300 which i belive <rm2000 can offer some experiment before jumping to serious photography and img quality more less the same as a6000 minus autofocus speed.

M4/3 is good as well but sensor size closer to rx100 1" you probably wont notice the bokeh much if you switch.

All depends. What the camera gonna used for? Sports? Scenery? Kids? Iphone replacement?

A bit generic. I'm going to guess iphone upgrade. Then RX100mkiii suffice since iphone users tend not to fuss much on zoom.

If portability is not much problem and you "may" consider upgrade, interchangeable lens is definitely way to go. Sony cameras like a6000 gets much praise due to its advanced focusing system and more pro feature but their sony lens are expensive and much to be desire. I've seen sony kit lens review and tried out myself.....not very good but for everyday use it's ok.

Personally I may recommend samsung nx camera as starter as their prime lens are much cheaper <RM1k and offer quite top notch quality. Their 16-50pz kit lens also much better than sony kit lens. But samsung camera errr....quite limiting like lens, accessories and adapters as they r not popular model. But not a problem for me as I don't intend to be infected with Gear Acquisition Syndrom (GAS).

Going smaller would be the m4/3 realm like panasonic and olympus. Lens selection are superb (darn expensive though) but personally I still have issue with their smaller sensor and stuck at 16mp.

Last advice would be just to check out the images like via flikr. If you are interested in portrait, just search the camera model + lens+ portrait in their search database.

sorry for my blurness haha. i am looking for an all rounder but utmost it should be nice pic? haha the pictures in your flickr are so awesome!! i supposed it had gone through some editing? the other day i had went over to the sony center to test out this mk3 but it doesnt seems to be that  "capable" . the interval between each shots is so long and also the stability as well.(do correct me if i am wrong)

1. LCD screen camera on the back does not translate to image on Desktop monitor. There's also difference between RAW and JPEG mode.
2. You need to up the shutter speed (select 'S' mode) to at least 1/100 if you got shaky hands.
3. If you went to sony centre, most likely someone tinker with the settings. I too was shocked until I realised the setting was left at very high ISO.
