If you consider rx100, I think you can take a look for Panny Lx100 also, quite a nice camera also  :-)

nice suggestion, i needed a simple feature, does a6000, ex100 or lx100 able to pause and continue record in 1 single file? I am a fan of non edited video, hence i like to merge all videos shots into 1 single file.

Pana lx100 may be a better choice.
M4/3 vs an inch
F1.4 vs f1.8?
Evf
Leica on the hood

If u have 2.5k to spare ill go pana/leica 25mm f1.4 with any m4/3 body. Epl3 and gf5 onwards they are all bloody quick camera. Super crisp images and awesome bookeh. Personally my gx1 with my 25mm is my best travel companion. Less restriction in low light and auto focus is blazing fast.

to be honest, i am just wondering between the mk3 and a6000 (with basic kit), would the outcome of picture taken differs alot? especially on colour

i just need better pictures quality among this three camera? if possible comparisonvia the basic kit.

A6000 pros:
*autofocus speed fast & accurate
*with Exmor APS-C image sensor, A6000 can capture DSLR quality picture

p/s: kit lens sharpness is about average, contrast may not high (depends on subject & lighting). u may need a good lens like SEL18105G or SEL1670Z if you're very particular with sharpness & colour

RX100MKIII pros:
*1 inch image sensor, larger than most point&shoot digital camera
*with Zeiss lenses, RX100MKIII able to take sharper, vibrant colour, higher contrast picture
