QUOTE(Yung_Psyke @ Sep 5 2015, 02:12 PM) Hello dear vapers, im a newbie here to vaping, wanted to "follow the trend" ended up actually quit smoking >its a 50w device, does that mean i can actually vape at 50w because it can? its a 50w device, does that mean i can actually vape at 50w because it can? max i tried was 30w and i was getting a slightly burnt taste and the tank part and mouth part was quite warm, when i switch back to 20w, tasted normal, why is that so? there are 2 more rba's in the box, the guy who i bought it from was not really helpful in explaining to me what it was, but he did mention "ini dia bagi untuk test, pakai buang punya, tak boleh tukar cotton" , can anyone shed some light on this? thank you in advance Yes >max i tried was 30w and i was getting a slightly burnt taste and the tank part and mouth part was quite warm, when i switch back to 20w, tasted normal, why is that so? Certain build can handle certain amount of power ran through them. The lower the resistance, the more power it needs to heat up. >there are 2 more rba's in the box, I'm guessing you're implying to the coil head instead of the RBA section. You can actually rebuild them, there's a bunch of youtube vids on that but learn how to recoil yourself with the RBA. Saves a ton of money in the long run |

QUOTE(glamour @ Sep 6 2015, 06:08 PM) Really? I have the Temco kanthal, not the re-branded vapowire, right in my Magma sitting tight since mid-August. Albeit this is my 'premium juice RDA' but still, solid delivery. Now I'm hunting for Ti wires because hey, why not? QUOTE(wienerdog @ Sep 6 2015, 06:14 PM) hi guys, Welcome to the Klan. i've been smoking for about 10 years and finally decided to switch to vaping after the recent news by the uk health officials that vaping is much better health-wise. tried to stop smoking lots of times over the years but still end up going back after 1-2 weeks of trying to quit. i did a lot of reading about which gear to get and which shops are decent + reputable, and i got myself an iPV Mini 2 + Subtank Mini in the end! hopefully this will get me to stop smoking after all these years...old liao, cannot simply anyhow play play! met some nice vapers at the store i went to and they told me about this forums where a lot of local vapers hang out so decided to join the sifus here. so hi everyone and i apologise in advance if i ask a lot of stupid questions in the future This post has been edited by nekkidgramma: Sep 6 2015, 06:49 PM |

QUOTE(Xander-G @ Sep 7 2015, 08:46 AM) Query on Dripper: About 3-5 drag, depends tho. But ooh you'll know, don't worry, you'll know...When is the time to drip again right after withdraw? a) When the cotton completely dry and you start to draw the cotton taste b) When the cotton almost dry and taste of cotton starting to surface c) Dont wait until the cotton dry, just apply the juice Reason of asking is to prevent burning cotton and coil Thanks |

QUOTE(Xander-G @ Sep 7 2015, 10:05 AM) QUOTE(maudermunty @ Sep 7 2015, 10:09 AM) Or as I called it " Vaping the Devil's pube and assbeard." At ease tho, you'll get that tingling/hot/dry feeling first as a warning sign from Satan himself first, so he's not all that bad... I guess. |

QUOTE(maudermunty @ Sep 7 2015, 10:34 AM) Pfft yeah right. Wait till you get splashed with a mysterious man-juice while you're making breakfast then you'll see how that's not " like the best gift ever. " That is why he didn't invite you to his group whatsapp. |

QUOTE(wienerdog @ Sep 7 2015, 02:51 PM) hi everyone, Some people like ah mois, some people like aweks. Just find what suits you and stick with it. Don't be afraid to experiment once in a while. You might be surprised with what you can do i have a noob question about the settings for the ipv mini + subtank mini. i am currently vaping at 18watts on the stock subtank mini coil and i was just wondering if 18watts is good for flavour. i was researching on the settings and noticed some people saying that 25watts is better for bringing out the flavours of the e-juices. could any sifus shed any light on this? |

QUOTE(wienerdog @ Sep 7 2015, 03:05 PM) thanks a lot guys! i was a bit worried that the mod might go wonky if i play with the settings too much. just discovered an amazing juice so i was hoping to find the best way to properly savour this yummy juice - charlie noble's admiral reserve: good cookie. tastes just like a homemade chocolate chip cookie and isn't too sweet After Ben Johnson Cr3am, Oreo cookies, I'm very skeptical about chocolate cookies juices. Gunk-builder 2000 that one. The Peach Tea was nice tho ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ |

QUOTE(wienerdog @ Sep 7 2015, 03:24 PM) how well does the tea flavour stand out? i tried an iced tea juice which was supposed to be an earl grey tea flavoured juice and it was...interesting to say the least. charlie noble's cookie doesn't seem that viscous to me but i'm still new heh... very pleasant chocolate cookie flavour IMO Very floral at first, like that first gulp of a cold ice tea on a hot day and then it mellows out into the background for the peaches to come up. Refreshing at the least. Well Cr3eam is very sweet and it's pitch black from the colouring so it's not really a surprise to destroy my coil after 3 days |

QUOTE(wienerdog @ Sep 7 2015, 05:34 PM) wow sounds like a heavenly juice! added that to my list of juices to try hehe. speaking of the colouring, i noticed that most of the imported juices are a clear/translucent colour while there's some startingly radiant coloured local juices like neon blue, neon purple etc. are those mainly from the food colouring? Now hold yer horses there partner. Taste is subjective, as I always told in this thread. I personally love tea over coffee so that's must be why it clicks with me. Can't say the same for others. Just pennies for thought there QUOTE(ekudz @ Sep 7 2015, 07:20 PM) Damn but won't local seller hunt him down for slashing the price that much? Just wondering and huwee they got the Uwell Crown as well. Mine from FT haven't arrive yet... So so tempted to get from them. Same price as FT too |

QUOTE(leddmirage @ Sep 8 2015, 03:23 PM) hi guys.. anyone have experience in getting RDA/RTa o-rings? i know there are replacement o-ring for certain tanks.. but wat about other tanks? Get more then. Pfft don't diss them just because they're made in China. 90% vape gear came from China and still sells like hot cakes i.e Subtank mini, elaf, P4Y... yada yada. See? Child labor IS useful.i.e when the o-ring from FT broke; M.I.C. quality.. looking for backup plan.. hehe SKU 2019300 QUOTE(stix @ Sep 8 2015, 03:58 PM) Question guys, im currently on subox starter kit. How do i crank up the ohm? Im using 26g khantal with 8 reps and only 1.0 ohm. Does higher ohm get me more flavour and heat? Can i make my coils with 10 reps? Use higher gauge wire. Use 30g or 28g. 6-7 wraps around 2.5mm drill bit should do the job |
