QUOTE(BlueHeng @ Jan 13 2009, 12:08 AM) You pay me I teach you how to impress girls! hahaha.. I'm curious.. how many of you actually have the opinion that doing magic can attract girls? I have a lot of guy friends who always go 'wow.. can kao lui' when I show them tricks. However I myself don't find it a good 'kao lui' tool at all. In fact if can play musical instruments way better. What do you guys think? My tricks all get positive feedback from girls but guys are just... you know around there only.

Hey guys, I am new here, but have been involved in magic for a few years (on and off). Nice to see that there is a forum post created just for Magic!
Anyway, I have a question here. Have any of you played with the effect called snow storm? Can this effect be done at closeup?
I am thinking of purchasing it from magic garage, therefore, any comments on snow storm is greatly appreciated.

Snowstorm... penguin magic one rite? The spectator won't be able to check the deck, which means you're not clean.
Unless it's stage la.

Nope, not the card trick by Jay Sankey. It's an effect where performer uses a folding fan to blow onto his/her hand to create a snowstorm of paper. Mostly use as a finishing act. Actually I am thinking of performing this at a outdoor birthday party, so maybe I should not use the word closeup. There will be a distance between me and the audience, so should be safe enough if there is anything to conceal. Anymore comments on this effect?

Anymore comments on this effect? if you're performing during party, you have to make sure that the confetti does not land on food or drinks...haha..
