The CS will give u 2 choices to use points to waive or do balance transfer. Say you want to do neither .If the CS still does not want to waive the annual fees. Ask them to pass the line to the retention department. Talk to the retention officer. icon_idea.gif

yes, i know cc limit and ready credit limit are different
i'm just don't understand if they think my income is not enough to get a cc limit more than RM4k
then based on what they increased my ready credit limit to RM16k? it's 4x compare to my cc limit...  hmm.gif  i did not apply to increase my ready credit limit
*
haha...citibank really weird like that

my first card since fresh grad is the clear card with 6k limit

they increased it gradually without me requesting..now 15k limit..not my main card..lol

ready credit oso gip 15k doh.gif doh.gif

maybank on the other hand really kedekut with credit limit..lol

citibank has been bugging me to increase credit limit.

So I would like to know what is the disadvantage of increasing credit limit?

I know if my spending stays the same while my credit limit is high, my utilization percent is low, and my CTOS CCRIS score will be better.

Cant think of any bad side of increasing credit limit.
*
dont have any downside provided u pay ur dues in full every month.

pro is u have more flexibility as higher credit limit u can make bigger installment purchases if necessary. 15k credit limit is much better than 6k credit limit anytime sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

They emailed me, sometimes called me.

I always pay in full for all statement, but I do have installment around 1k going on, while my credit limit now is 6k only.

So I am thinking to get a credit limit increase so my utilization score can improve.

I generated a report last month and my score was only 78 sad.gif

then just accept the credit limit increase bro...1k installment from 6k credit limit..excluding other usage..u better accept wor

citibank quite lenient in increasing credit limit from my experience

maybank damn stingy..lol
