QUOTE(labtec @ Mar 5 2020, 12:38 AM) do we need to update all ewallet then only can get the rebate? or one like grabpay is good enough to get RM30? I read the TNC for the Visa campaign. It says strictly by invitation only. Then I read the cash pool is first come first serve and you need to consistently top up 5 eWallets for 5 months for Campaign 2. The payout is only enough for 2,000 winners. Too many unknowns and variables. I can't confirm I'm invited. I also missed the first month, so if 2,000 customers already sign up for this campaign in Feb, then by June all the winners are already decided. Those who keep topping up July to Dec are just wasted effort. All the diligence in the world will go to waste if something happens that cause you to be unable to top up 5 eWallets on 1st June 2020. Lastly, the winner will only be announced next year January. Until then nobody can be sure about the campaign mechanics or whether they actually got anything. It's also a long wait for that 10% cash back. This post has been edited by gooroojee: Mar 31 2020, 01:05 AM |

QUOTE(lilsunflower @ Mar 31 2020, 11:58 PM) It is often more lucrative to cancel and reapply for Citibank CCs every year than hope to win anything substantial for them. Ive been doing this since 2010 as they've got awesome acquisition offers but aren't so generous with existing customers. Lol.. I'm surprised every year they approve your application.. must be high net worth... |

Considering that the HSBC top up to Touch and Go finished within 32 seconds... And that one had 3,000 winners...
This Citibank promo has quota only for 1,500 winners... so plan ahead and set expectations... |

QUOTE(shankar_dass93 @ Apr 11 2020, 12:57 PM) Thanks for your reply man. It's not normal to have daily/monthly expenses of up to 10x your monthly income. My main purpose of wanting a card was to fund my daily expenses rather than having to carry around cash. Gesh, assumed that one could easily get a credit limit of at least 7x or 10x |

QUOTE(fruitie @ Apr 12 2020, 12:21 AM) CL is determined by banks and they have the rights to assign you with whatever limit they want to. Others' CL cannot be used as a reference. If I guess correctly the offered credit limit is 5x your current salary... heheheThat said Citibank has been sending me emails to increase CL but I didn't do it. My limit is since 2016 which is 3x of my salary that time. Now they are offering 300% increase of my existing limit. |

QUOTE(tan_aniki @ Apr 14 2020, 04:22 PM) Just now accidentally applied Prestige and got it approved even though i don't have such income... They have a 250k sign on bonus now? So worth about RM350. I called CS about the AF and they offer me to spend RM12k over 60 days and call back to waive the RM1k AF, so i think 250k points for RM1k is still worth and try for it for 1 year and hopefully they can offer this every year la Looks like Aniki and Fruitie have above RM16k income. π |

QUOTE(jianwei90 @ May 18 2020, 12:25 AM) The only workaround left is go shopee and buy bigpay (at 2% transaction fee (lowest) that can be found in shopee).. this campaign give us 6.25% cash back as RM 800 get RM 50)..hence net gain is around 4.25% (to deduct bigpay withdrawal charges as well).. it seems there has been people doing this already as I can see people buying in shopee at around 12am just now.. Buy bigpay ? |
