500 on 1 jan for campaign 2, what abt the campaign 1 1000? only can do on 2 jan right bec the term said anything do on mega sales day would be excluded for campaign 1?

if i do ctb, i will hv to let go scb, else i max all my ewallet soon.
*
Citi make the campaign tnc becomes like so complicated.. 1 Jan is mega sales day.. so mean we shouldn’t top up on 1 Jan?

For the avoidance of doubt, purchases made on the 2021 Monthly Mega Sale Day will be excluded from the calculation of cash back for Qualifying Spend

1. Do we need to send a sms to participate this campaign?

2. Citi lazada is eligible, right?

3. Strategy will be 500 on mega sales day and 1000 on other days each month?

4. Bigpay consider as e wallet?
*
My wild guess based on my understanding from tnc
1. No need
2. Yes
3. yes
4. Even if not eWallet, still an online transaction

Actually this cashback is for which month? I’ve received 2 sms last year, 1 for telco campaign, 1 for TNB campaign.. different period promo, Sep & Nov.. but when I check back the txn history, look like the cashback is for later campaigns, seem like the first campaign I didn’t get any..

But, based on sms notification, it mentioned is Sep telco campaign, but the amount not tied..

google around and i should be able to offset it AFTER i made purchase at lazada, then go my citi app and offset from there..but this is where i am not sure.

anyone have any instructions on how to do it through the apps?

From what I understand, Citibank will close all branches in Malaysia but still remain their credit card business in Malaysia. According to news, they will operate from Singapore (single office to manage Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, etc markets).

In my opinion, you still can use your Citibank credit card as usual, and make payment through any other Malaysia banks (online transfer).
By doing this, Citibank will cut huge operation costs - will them pass back the savings to their credit card holders?

Assume that Citibank offer bigger cashback to their card holders, it will kill other local bank credit card that operate physically in Malaysia (due to huge operating costs), which is not a fair competition.

PS: I'm not a banker ya - I hope to get bigger cashback, at the same time, I hope it's a fair competition.

In this case, call centre will be based in spore?

You encountered before?

Mine are now posted. All still showing 8 june
*
yes, encountered b4...
so, u r lucky they didnt use the cross time gateway, normally those shown as Big Pay Malaysia Sdn Bhd will have gateway issue of posting 1 day earlier for midnight txn...
If ur txn is Bigpay- EC / ECOM, then, it will follow Malaysia time...

I have two shown as Big Pay Malaysia and they are on same day
For public bank, if they happen to have that one-day earlier posting issue, it would have been shown when they shown up as unposted
*
U mean u top up at 12am for Bigpay with description Bigpay Malaysia Sdn Bhd, but after posted, it still shown the date as 8 June instead of 7 June?

They moving out of consumer banking in Msia already, they continue their existing operations to prevent tarnishing their reputation and brand. Doubt they will give rebates for their fees now...
Wonder if can apply for new card now?
*
More like they want to maintain as much as possible of customers to sell higher value... that's customer data... I think that's just depend on the mood of the CS, for those who failed to get rebate, just keep trying for other CS...

QUOTE(John00 @ Aug 9 2021, 11:29 AM)
You would be surprised. They are spamming rewards to get new card applications. And their sign up bonus is one of the highest.
*
Yeah, they need more customers.. and they keep offer credit limit increase to unjustifiable amount against your income... dry.gif
