So I applied for a Citibank credit card around the beginning of March and still haven’t heard back from them.

Applied for the card online in conjunction with their TnG reload voucher promo.

Called up their CS multiple time’s to check on my status and was informed that their sales team arent working at the moment hence I have to wait till the MCO ends which sucks tbh.

Now I have a few question. I am a fresh graduate who just started working around 4 months ago. I do not have any loans or what so ever and this would be the first time that I am applying for a credit card.

What is the chances of me being approved with a card by CitiBank ?

Btw, my annual income would be pretty close to RM60k.

My main purpose of wanting a card was to fund my daily expenses rather than having to carry around cash.

Gesh, assumed that one could easily get a credit limit of at least 7x or 10x

Sure would keep you updated. I needed a Cc urgently as I have the cash to buy something but just don’t want to carry a whole load of cash around and rather use a CC due to security reasons.

Same here, I just drop them a message via the message channel, I saw the rebate reflected at my cc account

Called to cancel my PremierMiles since the annual fees are coming up again. 3 years in a row getting annual fee waiver. Over the last 12 months I’ve probably used it twice only. I’m curious what drives them to continue maintaining my card without the annual charge.

They used the free lounge access to persuade me to stay on. I chuckled and told them the lounges are closed as part of preventative measures to curb the pandemic. 

my partner want to request for citi cb. should wait for rm500 promotion or just proceed with current rm200 tng voucher?
