Earlier I cancel my Premier miles due to the bank reluctant to waive the annual fees. I was told I can reapply after the cooling off period. So the period is 3 or 6 months ?

guys, if my credit card have RM2000 balance, can i do balance transfer to my other bank CC, because i wanted to cancel citibank credit card, but still have 2000 balance inside, not i owe bank, is bank owe me then i not wish to use the card anymore due need pay AF next month....

Paid my first bill on last saturday via IBG transfer. to date, citi statement still show outstanding. Normally, how long will the payment transaction clear?

Hi guys, what is the easiest way to cancel my Citibank clear cc? Do I need to fill cancellation form and mail it to Citi HQ? Is there any other way? Thinking of getting other cc, because no af waiver for me this year even after I said I want to cancel it, no direct payment(i don't have citi account), and not much benefits that I get except for the points that i don't even know how to use.

Great, saw the form before when I was searching for ways of cancellation, but miss the word fax, thought can only send by normal mailing. Would have to settle one EPP though before I can proceed with the cancellation. And find suggestion on which card to apply, as this is my only cc.

How can I know whether the transaction/payment succeeded? Will citibank send any confirmation on that?

Annual fees will be pro rated if you have to pay (not entire year). The dept for waiver is Card Retention Unit and they work during office hour.
One thing,sometimes they will only waive once you officially submit cancellation request ( with all outatanding balance cleared).
As customer, usually its too late although they will give alot of excuse that they reviewed and now you eligible. There a lot of no annual fee upfront from competitors.

If the annual fee (let say RM 100)  starts charging on 1 Feb 2016 to 31 Jan 2017, and you cancel today, it will be 18/366 (leap year) x RM 100 = RM 0.86. Not the entire RM 100.

Tried twice, it didn't works for me. They just ask me to utilize my points to redeem the Annual Fee coupon or convert my card to either Platinum rewards or Choice. They also ask if I want to proceed with the cancellation.

If my annual fee is due in May this year, when should I call to ask regarding waiver? Can I call this month or ?
