2. Budget - RM 1.9k - RM 2.2k
3. Usage - programming, surfing net
4. Preferred laptop/screen size - i5, 15.6' anti-glare

PS: No windows is okay. Long-lasting battery and light weight if possible

I was looking for reliable tough laptop. Not the one military grade . But less prone to break for axtivevlife style

been read thru...some web recommended Lenovo Thinkpad Series or Dell Latitude Series

not military or industrial heavy duty grade but atleast better hidge and well protect built up.

latitude got ultra rugged, ATG, normal industrial grade...

there r other model n brands like illegear R series, xps

now eyeing on Dell 6 series or Lenovo thinkpad T series .on top of that...i am looking for good after service too

dont worry, dell malaysia is good service after sales. if cant find in local, maybe can be imported from singapore. but for sure the price is increase a bit.. im not sure if its include in shipping service or not... since certain unit is not imported into malaysia.. sweat.gif

if you want to know the processor is ulv or not.. it should be ending U at behind of the processor.. doesnt matter 4th gen or 5th gen, or even 6th, still the branding of processor is the same.
dell 7447 using quad core processor i7. unlike ulv i7 which is dual core processor biggrin.gif

if you want to consider 15" acer v nitro black edition also nice. light weight as well. the new v nitro of cz, comes with gtx960m. around 3.4k

the acer v nitro quite nice, i dont mind 15, but i saw alot ppl avoid acer? because the part easy to spoil? how about their after sales service?

and where u saw 3.4k? i saw was 4599.
