If no problem at all, better don't. They are probably replacing them with refurbished parts.
*
New model new parts.. like vostro 5480 can't recycle 5470 parts. Hehe

New Xps13 can't recycle old Xps13 parts... those similar parts 1 yes... less than 1yr model mostly new parts.

Parts like keyboard, touchpad, speaker sure new..
Refurbished parts mostly mobo, GPU, ram, processor. Screen depends

Erm, may I know why the Z50-70 is not a better choice? I hope you don't mind me asking because I don't really know laptops sad.gif

I believe the Z50-70 is cheaper on paper than the dell inspiron 3443 and vostro 5480, with larger hdd capacity, larger screen, better gpu than the 830M and M330 i think, but then the i7 5500U is better than the i7 5410U

U check the display.. tn or IPS.. I7-5500 n 4510u almost same clockspeed. Just 5th better energy efficiency... n lenovo dun hv onsite service for non ThinkPad or biz range.. means u hv to send ur unit to service center n wait for weeks..

Dell more expensive becoz all units got next business day onsite service... BTW 3443 worse than wat I offer u.. 1 ram slot.. 3000 series Inspiron for light usage n budget... n its gt 820m...

Everyone has their own priority in choosing their laptop. At your current budget, Dell has the best after sales service. Their onsite warranty is superB. Moreover, you have to look into the cooling system, design, speaker and more.

I just included the laptops of that you can afford with your current budget. Specs wise, no doubt that the Z50-70 is good as Lenovo always provide cheaper laptop with a better specs. However, some dealers say that Lenovo creates lemon products. So, you have to consider and do more research about that yea. biggrin.gif

win10 optimised by 8.1 based. original games will surely receive updates so that can be play on win10... unless jack sparrow fifa, will only can be play on 8.1... hardly to receive update. if only if, you can patch here and there for the update.

I'm looking for a laptop for gaming/studies/3D modeling as I'm moving to Europe for my studies.

1. Preferred Brand : Any Brand, hopefully have service if got problem in Germany

2. Budget : RM 3000 to RM 4000 (the cheaper the better, but normally what i look for around RM 3500~RM 4000) Malaysian currency drop, so have to choose wisely ><

3. Usage : gaming/modelling/studies/work [my current laptop cant support most games cause my graphics only Radeon HD 5000 series]

4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 15" (popular i guess) or any similar one

If can got at least slot for SSD, I can add more SSD afterwards one.

will also take into account of weight and battery life(have to carry around all day and without charger). But that comes after choosing the laptop. So the above ones are more important. For gaming and studies thats all. GTX 50 series and 60 series will have much difference or not ? (950M and 960M / 850M and 860M). if worst come to worst have to reduce graphics settings also no problem one. Cause I never get to play high settings with ATI Radeon HD 5000 series. alot graphical lag. Planning to play games like blade and soul, black desert online, uh and maybe some newer games

Hope I get a reply soon. Thank you in advance and have a nice day.
