yes gtx 960m can handle HEVC playback very well
inspiron 7559 are better choice than any others laptop

Looking for a laptop. Any recommendation?

1. Preferred Brand - Any
2. Budget - around RM6000 and below (will consider RM100 or RM200 more if upgrade is significant)
3. Usage - Gaming (anything and everything) and work (simple video editing, word processing, spreadsheets etc etc)
4. Preferred
a) nvidia 970m/960m graphics
b) light weight less than 3kg
c) decent battery life (2 hrs+ when gaming)
d) less heat (will be travelling a lot)
e) durable, good quality build (cant always use it in good conditions)
f) can last me at least 2-3 years before i have to change to play new games at at least medium-high quality

Sorry the list is a bit long...hehe. Oh, one exception to the price is the hp omen 2015 (the 960m version) if you think its REALLY worth getting over your other recommendations for the extra price. And if its actually available here.

Hallo guise. Ayam a student for CPU and need a laptop. I'm planning to take Comp Sci in the future so please account for that.

I prioritize cpu and ram. I don't care about what gpu however any gpu with 1gb of gddr5 would be nice although not a must

I must have 8gb of ram. If it is a better choice however, I don't mind the laptop not coming with 8gb new, if it's 4gb and I have to add another 4 it's fine by me

Form factor is the biggest for me. I do not want a bulky laptop like many 'business laptops' I've seen. My current laptop is 1.2 - 1.4 inches thick and as long as it's not more than that it's good

budget 2k. 1gb ddr5 gpu if like that, your budget is suitable for desktop. laptop is pretty expensive. even 2.5k for gaming is run on low-med quality display. + you want slim. revise your budget.

Need some recommendation from sifus. Buying laptop today but still confused.

Brand: hp or dell. Like asus but read about the lousy customer service.

Usage : work n simulation gaming

Budget : 2500 but less 3k also considerable.

Preferred : 14" but if 15" options are lighter in weight would be great.

Dell 7559? that is best choice you have. slim and light. but no optical disk bay. around 3499 only. good gpu, good display too.
