Need help regarding recommendation of 2 laptop

1st laptop
1. Preferred Brand : asus, lenovo, acer
2. Budget : 3.5k
3. Usage - gaming, multimedia, office
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 15.6"

I'm considering g551jw-dm016h (gtx 960m) and upgrade the ram to 8gb, but seems hard to find it now
Or should I get its variant (GL552JX-DM174H) which using gtx 950m ?
Just wondering is it a lot differences between 950m & 960m ?

2nd laptop

1. Preferred Brand : any as long as is ultrabook, no chromebook thanks
2. Budget : 3k
3. Usage - no gaming, multimedia, office
4. Preferred laptop/screen size : 13 /14

For this one either i5 / i7 & 8gb ram will do, and if possible prefer with ssd

Thiz one sure can do engineering stuff or not? Ayam newb bout laptop mang! Ayam use catia, solidwork, simufact welding & forming, patran nastran software. Must can use all thiz then ayam ok!

Can i get gtx 970m wIth intel skylake with with that budget?

Don't get the wrong idea of the M-5Y10. Its performance is just slightly behind the 4th gen Intel core i5. Great thing about this core is that it draws so little power, it doesn't need a built-in fan to cool it.

And their is really less variety in 15.6 ultrabook. Asus K501LX seems to be the best in term of specs.

Hi guys, I am planning to buy a dell laptop, and my budget is RM3k. Im getting a laptop for college use, will be installing autocad for drafting, PRO-E and mostly for browsing the internet, microsoft office. I am thinking of between the dell inspiron 7447 and dell inspiron 5548. Could you guys please advise? And is the website online price same as outside or it is cheaper outside?

Thanks for replying! I do understand that there is a quite a price difference between the standard resolution and the FHD but what I don't understand is that why they are using 860m but with 1366x768 resolution?

the ones ive found so far are the hp zbook 15 g2, the thinkpad w541, and the precision m4800. any other workstations that are recommended?

how good are gaming laptops at doing CAD/3D tasks? i think the performance okay, its just the build quality and support that i'm worried for.

alright. ill look mainly for workstation models, but if i cant find, i guess msi GS60, gigabyte p35k and asus g501jw should work right?
