The only model I can think of below RM1500.
Dell Inspiron 15 5551-5445SG-DOS Laptop/ Notebook (N3540, 500GB, 4GB, Intel, NO Windows) RM1,357/-

If you got more budget, you can opt for this.

I can't find any review in this forum for that laptop. Edit : just found it
I read some reviews, some says that the hinge is awfully not durable cry.gif ,, you can read it here -> http://www.ultrabookreview.com/4274-asus-z...ux303ln-review/
It is worth the money to take that risk?

And can you pls kindly tell me are there any physical shop you recommend in KL?

Thank you

Glad to hear that you are making so much effort before buying a laptop. Sorry that I was looking too much on the specs instead of the durability. There are still a few models to consider before buying a laptop.
1. Dell Vostro 14 5480-20452G-DW7SSDMC Laptop/ Notebook (i5-5200U, 256GB SSD, 4GB, NV GT740M, W7HP) RM3,380/-
2. Lenovo ThinkPad E450 20DC003EMY 14" Laptop/ Notebook (i7-5500U, 1TB, 4GB, AMD R7 M260, W7P DG W8.1 Pro) RM3,178/-

Personally, I think that the Dell Vostro 14 5480 is good for your sister since it is designed to target female users and has a relatively long battery life. tongue.gif But please do your own research to compare these models ya. Since everyone has their own priority when it comes to choosing their laptop. Hope this helps. biggrin.gif

Thanks for the suggestions. Quick question.
Why is the one with the newer range of GPU and W10 cheaper than the other? icon_question.gif

I see. Wondering where you got the prices from.
Checked the dell website, the Inspiron 5458 and Vostro 5480 is RM2649

EDIT: just checked out this website: techhypemart. seems legit.
http://www.techhypermart.com/notebooks/del...nv-820m-w8.html

How is that? with i7 5500U & NV 840M

Apparently this model is unavailable from Dell's website.
If I go to digital mall, you reckon they still sell it there?

I also found this one - Inspiron 5558 (i5-5200U, 8GB, NV 920M, 1 TB, 15.6") RM2,599

Just saw you recommended Lenovo too. I try to avoid Lenovo, bad experience and they are getting bad publicity on the news nowadays (installing bloatware in the BIOS?)

But that one comes with Windows 8 only. Usually most of us will avoid Windows 8. Go for the 8.1 better. biggrin.gif
