oh.. how d lens was secure in place?
hmm. . will d increase of thickness by th UV lens effected when fitted Canon adapter??
i think is like a protective. d link chanchaic show, stated it as well.
but he fitted d adpater with a lens in front to protect it...
WOnder how much is a adapter..any store in KL got stock ready??
Actually, Coming to think of it, after seeing the real image, "my personal opinions"...
One should never attempt to make changes/modifications to any equipment
I believe that G7 have been design in a way to handle weather as such...
Putting an additional "glass filter" infront of the lens "may" defect the camera
such as " blocking moisture ventilation" as to simplfied this... let me say...
# A DSLR Lens is design to be able to attach a filter infront of the lens, Of such it is only "Screw ON" or "Snap ON" the lens... NOT "Glued"
# Even the Original Canon Adapter is "Screw ON" and not "Glued"
So recommendation would be that...
# Leave as default like from factory
# Buy a decent "Blower to blow" "3M Micro Cloth to clean" of the dust
Also coming to think of this "Lens Protector", if were to attach on...
# Attaching an Underwater Casing, would be a risk of Lens damaging by Touching/Forcing/Scratching the Underwater case while using Telephoto (Zoom) as the "total length" would be differ from orignal
