Yup, I think they're OK. If fancy editing with Photoshop, a little more contrast will do, and ever so slightly little more brightness.

What's the exposure time on all these photos? I think need very steady hands right? Did you try ISO200 with EV-0.5~-1 (or even -2)? Should have the shutter operate in shorter time although noisier, I'm curious about the ISO performance as CCD normally has lower noise than CMOS.

I didn't go hunt for the phone today as I only go Pavilion to play around with the Nokia set I'm looking at for my father, see which one is better. Going to hunt tomorrow at sg wang or lowyat hopefully some shop got la...

EDIT: Just check the EXIF, 4 sec on ISO50, obviously ISO50 has very low noise but is it more than 4 sec shutter time? Maybe you should try combination of ISO100 without EV or ISO200 with EV negative value as mentioned above?

if tomorrow I can't get the imobile then I might just get the Nokia 2630...Or ask my father again see which one he prefer, and get from Seaedge (but since only 3 units, guess many people will bid on it lol)...Oh well...

I saw ghost lol! Damn impressive night shots...

...But I still wonder how a fast night mode shot will do...My N95 is usually 1/5sec on night shots with ISO800.

By the way if you want to ask me why 1GB not enough, cause I lazy to delete and transfer at first, bringing more than satu keping 1GB card for extensive photo shooting during a (for example) 7 days vacation and above ain't enough and bringing more memory cards is quite troublesome for me as I can lost it quite easily. And most importantly, I love to store many videos since this phone is also capable of playing videos, moreover got video out so if want to show friends many photos 1GB cannot really fit in...

It's just me though, so don't take my personal opinion so seriously, this is still a superb phone afterall, just didn't quite meet my need. My father also like that one lol.

Yeah I can see there're lots of noises, more than I thought in the first place... High ISO is important for capturing moving objects in the low light condition, and less chance for handshake too. It's not a battle of who has the highest ISO here, it's to know more about the camera performance so can choose the balanced setting. Although the result is noisy, the detail is still all there, maybe i-mobile didn't put any noise reduction algorithm or hardware chip at all?

I can't read the EXIF too, when download by "save target to" all I get was only 700kb JPEG and the EXIF all lost...So dunno what's the ISO setting for the picture. Can you check check, KTCY? Just right click on the jpeg file, click Properties, click Summary tab and change to advance view if it's in simple mode.

I'd rather get ipod touch + keeping the 902, at least warranty no worries and got best of both world... I heard firmware 1.1.3 added lots of security, if upgrade directly from jailbreak 1.1.2 whole phone will brick...Of course can wait for hacks but waiting can get old easily...

I find no problem with the pictures in the link you posted... And I don't see 902 pictures any "better" than the ixus pictures?

To my eyes 902 is some kind of overprocessed but in a good way, the ixus pictures look more natural.

That's why I asked KTCY to do a high ISO shot and post it up for this very simple reason.

regarding the flash, is it same with N82 or weaker? Cause from what I saw N82 seems to have super strong flash consider it's a camera phone...

Yup the N82 flash shots a lot are ISO-800. But strange thing is with the same ISO-800 N82 seems to perform better than N95...Which makes the N82 even better for flash photos...
