I will only use it to pay my UniFi bills.

Moreover, it doesn't require online spend. Swipe any amount to avoid RM 6 monthly charges. In order to qualify for cash rebate, one must spend RM 50 online spending. smile.gif

hi, you use vox to pay unifi bill. did you get 5% rebate for that? you pay from where?

This is a question which everyone is anticipating for. I'm afraid that we can only confirm about this on 30th Sept when the rebate is posted. We have just moved on to VOX after Maybank revised its MBB2Cards' weekend cash back
Previously, there was someone reported that paying Streamyx from MyTM is entitled for 5% cash rebate so it should work if you pay UniFi from that channel.

QUOTE(fruitie @ Oct 2 2015, 04:40 PM)
I'm talking to UOB CS now. I feel like giving her a tight slap. I asked her about the cash rebate posting date.

She told me I'm not eligible for any cash back because I didn't spend RM 1k. doh.gif doh.gif I said hello, RM 1k is the capped for 5% for RM 50 not that I need to spend RM 1k ok? doh.gif

I said I'm very clear that I will need to spend each transaction RM 50 to be qualified. I asked her to check with her superior first before misinforming her customers. She puts me on hold now...

I'm back, she told me my rebate is just RM 0.87 and is below RM 5 and that's why I can't see the cash rebate. I can only see it when it reaches RM 5.00. Also, she calculated the cash rebate based on my statement, I said cash rebate is supposedly calculated based on calendar month.

I argued that I don't have any visibility to see if the cash rebate is calculated correctly or not. I don't bother if I get RM 0.10, RM 1.00 or RM 10.00, the point is I need to have a view on it.

Guys, if what she said is true, looks like the TM Online is not part of cash rebate.

All my other transactions also she pandai2 calculate and told me all under retail. I said excuse me, some are obvious online transactions.

Anyway, I requested her superior to call me and speak to me regarding this.

Looks like UOB service still very bad, never changed for years.
I cant see my rebate(for August transactions) from online account as of now, if they really not giving Cash back(cheating customer mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif ), then i will cancel it. yawn.gif

I spent close to RM400 in August, including Lazada, 11street, Qoo10, got only RM1.18 cb. doh.gif

QUOTE(wan7075 @ Oct 5 2015, 01:33 AM)
why u spend so much abt 5k?
the 5% rebate not only cap at rm100 @ 1k spend?
*
I know it caps at RM50 (not Rm100) for online transactions, other transactions are those that falls on some other categories which does not give any cash back using other card too and the merchant do not accept AMEX.

Care to show all the transactions for us to have a look?
It looks like all my transactions really fall under retail and I can't see it because it's below RM 5. doh.gif
I don't think so... All my tests are stuck now.

If i spent this much and don't get a cent, they're done. LOL
I hold back my purchase to wait for the rebate, i think i will use other credit card first while waiting UOB reply.

I'll use maybank2card-AMEX(*1.25%) for retail category, but if AMEX not allowed, then I'll choose VOX (0.3%) for retail category
*
yes, that is why i used VOX, because merchant does not accept AMEX

So does your cash rebate tallies?
*
It does if they calculated all under other retails transactions (and except Majlis bandaraya), which is 0.3% rebate only.

713.37 + 68.6 + 4400 + 179.35 = 5361.32
5361.32 * 0.003= 16.08

the majlis bandaraya, I think it wont give any rebate.. (just guessing)

yeah, but i guess everyone should file complaint, so that they know a lot ppls are noticed and unhappy about it.
Or else, i guess they will take it slow.

Few years back, I have a dispute case with them. They dragged for about half year, and send me letter(ask me to pay) + statement every month after I cancelled my UOB One card. Until one day i send a complaint to BNM, within 2 weeks, the case settled.

CIMB posted my Sep transaction extra late(25/9 but posted on 29/9) which just beautifully excluded the entire transaction to Oct shakehead.gif
