if you're thinking of getting of getting the non-turbo Preve, i'd advise you to go for the new Persona instead bro.

vanilla Preve just don't have enough torque for the car (it's heavy!) especially when going uphill.

MT Exec user here. It happens a lot when the GB is still new. It will drastically reduce over time. Same thing happened to my parents Persona MT when it was new.

Next time, when engaging reverse, you could actually feel if the gear "masuk" or not. If it doesn't, you should put it to first and masuk R balik. Then you'll feel the gear properly engaging. There should be a notched feeling, like mechanicals engaging. Then it should not grind

It's decent, but I'm sure City/Vios is even more powerful. So far just 20,000 km, no clutch pump issue yet. There's a 7 year warranty (i think) with my car so I'm not really worried about possible issues.

But i dislike their handling

- this can happen if AC is abused or if coolant and other liquid are overlooked and not maintained properply.
- also do best practice off turning off AC before shutting down engine and start engine with AC off when trying to warm up your car.

Im not into performace much, but it does shows some improvement on dyno charts...im more interested in the voltage supplied not dropping whenever i turn on aircond etc...like right now, if i want to go abit faster, i usually turn off aircond to get some "power" 😂

Just a voltage stabalizer?

My car kept dying when at standstill. Especially when approaching traffic light. Even the SC is trying and testing every part without guarantee it’s the solution. Can’t afford to keep repairing la. And the gearbox I suspect was beginning to show signs of age. Repairing the gearbox and turbo will again cost a bomb.

Is your headlamp upgraded to DRL as shown on your profile picture?

how u solve the C pillar wind noise?
*
I follow this advise:

9. Wind noise issue coming from C pillar at about 80-90km/h. [Proton acknowledge and is investigating] [A member here has found that the issue originate from the rubber at the small window. He put a playdoh on both upper corner of the small window and the noise disappear]
