guys, is it normal for preve rain wipers to stop when the car stops? how to disable this? Sometimes i stop at junction, i cannot see the road because the wiper also stops or slow down. This is dangerous. can SC disable this for me?

QUOTE(xphr3ak @ Jan 29 2016, 11:01 AM) If i am not mistaken, there are 4 modes for Preve Premium(not sure for Executive Manual/CVT). 1. Mist 2. Intermittent <--- Normal if use this mode. It will follow based on you car speed. 3. Off 4. Slow 5. Fast Thanks. Same. My preve is executive CVT. It has same modes as you described. However, at mode #Slow and also #Fast, it will automatically switch to #intermittent when my car stops at junctions. And I cannot see the road because it is raining! What the heck??? Please tell me if this can be disabled by SC or any sifu? Thanks

QUOTE(:3mushy:3 @ Jan 29 2016, 11:35 AM) Not sure about exev, but CFE has auto mode which the sensor is fairly accurate. Yes, but anyone knows about non-sensor wiper modes for preve? I wish to disable this mode. It is not safe to use.

QUOTE(voscar @ Jan 29 2016, 02:39 PM) last time don't have this feature, ppl admire those expensive/continental car for this kind of "exclusive" feature. now give you this feature, some ppl will complain "not safe" to use. in fact i dunno got this feature until saw somebody praise of this auto sensing wiper feature dunno from iriz or suprima forum weeks ago. I cannot tell whether you are attacking me personally when you say "proton gave you this feature". I'm a practical person. I dont like pretending to be richer than I really am. I buy a car I can afford just to use daily. And right now I'm asking other Preve owners to see if this feature can be disabled? I cannot find it in the user manual. I'm not exagerating when I say this is not safe. Was at junctions and the wiper stopped and automatically goes to intermittent. I cant see cars ahead of me at all. Does expensive continental cars behave this way? not sure, I'm not rich person to drive expensive cars. Perhaps someone can share some light. QUOTE(ys_kong @ Feb 1 2016, 03:17 PM) Ya maybe.. on the highway preve is solid, but when u belok here belok there on a small and bumpy roads, fuyoh.. ‘ki li ko lok ki li ko lok’ sounds all the way… Imported cars are more expensive then proton are because of higher tax, comparing the specs of the lower range vios/city, actually there are similar to saga only… but their quality are far more better… don’t say I only like to complaint about proton, our national car… I gave them a chance by purchased a preve, and this is what they give me… personal experience, any new cars 100k and below suffers from this. my sister's city also same. 1 year old, got clicking noise inside car cabin, but only when cornering, or braking. luckily driving constantly on highway no sound else she will complaint. as for myself, the preve, so far still ok. only the seat got click click sound like some rotan furniture. touch-wood other sound tak ada.
