Hi preve owners ... SC found out that the rad fan motor may be fail (the fan sometimes works), SC told if need to replaced, have to replace motor and housing too ... cost rm600. 1. Is it possible to replace motor only as I was told it can be done outside workshop?
2. Can anyone show/explain how to remove the rad fan assy? ...It so tight!

A few weeks before already change one relay (HIGH). Yes ... aircond not cool when fan not working.

As mention already change one relay and the fan works fine for a few weeks. Fuse fail, the fan not working at all right? In my case sometimes the fan works.

Found out that for my preve 2013, the fan with BOSCH name ... according to sparepart shop, if BOSCH I need to change the motor and the cover too ... cost RM600. Btw if not BOSCH, can change motor only that cost RM260!.

I tried to take out the motor and cover but not successfull. That why I need to know how to if anyone done it before.

Hi all, I got Preve CVT 2013. Just fyi ... not only Preve owners, saga, persona and iriz too. If you want to buy sparepart on your own, please check with proton service center (recomended Proton Edar Service Center at Centre Of Service Excellence (cose) KESAS Hwy) the status of the part ... which one the lastest. As we know Proton already upgrade these model but sparepart shop did not keep uptodate parts and worse case the shops sell the old part cheap!. Further more dont forget to ask if the part still under warranty. Tq

Hi all. Need a suggestions. Done the alignment on 2013 Preve but the mechanic told me that I need to change rear linkage (I think) bcos the tyre bend outside too much and he cannont adjust the chamber anymore. Is this corrrect? Tq

Hi all. Any one having experience that 2013 Preve CFE sometimes engine suddenly off when stop at toll. Able to restart. But it happen several times. Tq

I thought the service booklet say change timing belt 120K or 72 mths.

Yes correct. Actually I just change mine at 96K and 6.5 years.

Last time went to Proton SC ... they offer 2 types of pad ... ori rm3++ and after market rm150.

Btw my preve not under warranty any more.

Hi every one. I can't start my preve so I jump and it started. But suddenly smoke came out from the turbo area (I think). Did any one experience this?.

Hi ... both related to turbo unit?

It turn out it is a leak from rocker cover gasket and drop on exhaust shield under turbo unit and burn when hot. Change gasket. Still got smoke due to not able to clean all the oil. Tq

No ... the top engine gasket.
