Hi everyone,

I'm currently seriously considering Preve as my next car.
The end year rebate is very attractive (or should I wait for early next year penghabisan stok 2015 promo? hehe..)

However, I really hope everyone here can help me.
Please, please, please take a picture of your current average fuel consumption on the Smart Info Display.
I really want to know exectly what are the average fuel consumption really like since some blog posted that their average FC is about 6L/100Km but on fuelly the majority of the entry are about 10L/100Km.

Please do help me guys.

TQ

Even with the pictures, they are not telling the actual story. All depends on traffic conditions, their travel roads, patterns, light or heavy footed, driving style and more variables. 10l/100km sounds about right for city driving. 6l/100km can be achieved with mostly highways driving.

Thanks for the reply Mushy. Yes, I agree with you. There are so many variables that contributes to it.
What is your Preve FC currently? Do you drive in city most of the time?

Besides that, I also read somewhere that by replacing some parts such as air filter will contribute to a better FC?

Hmm.. Seems 8.5l/100Km seems normal for Preve.

Wow.. your odo already reached 100+k Km?

Our Preve Exec CVT got the same issue Seager.
1 weeks old and got these problems:

1. Alignment
2. Braking sound & shaking a little bit.

Can we go to the SC and ask them to change(claim warranty) the brake parts before the 1st 1000km service?

Also, I noticed that the petrol gauge/bar makes me confuse. It only left 2 bars, but the display also tells that it still can go 200+ km? Can I trust that smart display?

1&2 - Yes you can.

Your first time driving a car with mileage gauge? The gauge estimation is heavily dependent on your driving style and real-time traffic condition, based on your average fuel consumption per liter.
*
Well, I think my driving style and traffic condition doesn't changed that much.

However, I forgot to tell that the first half (4 bars) of the fuel gauge only get me about 250+km mileage.
And now when it only left 2 bar it says 201km left? Isn't it confusing? Use 4 bars of fuel = Actual reading from trip 250+km. Left 2 bars smart meter says 201km.. hehe

Hi guys, I noticed a mild krik kruk sound came from the rear part of my Preve when I drove it on an uneven road or passing a speed bumps.

At first I think it was the car jack that is located on top of the spare tyre, but after inspecting it closely, I'm pretty confident it wasn't it.

Any of you guys have encountered the same problem?

Secondly, after a week driving my Preve I also noticed that braking the car when it is in a slow speed also making a quite hard krik kruk sound. It it normal? What can I do to solve the braking sound problem?

I got the same problem driving on uneven road will got some weird sound coming from rear, but not sure what is the problem, any1 else face the same problem?
*
Hi Stichy, the rear problem sound seems gone after the 1000km service. The SC mechanic have re tighten the undercarriage of my Preve. Maybe you should ask the SC to check your car undercarriage and retighten it.

Weirdly guys, I have compained about the braking sounds problem to the SC, but they said that I need to do the disc brake skimming on my own?

And one more new minor problem which is the driver seat is making a kruk kruk sound whenever I moved.. So annoying if you know what I mean.. About that also the SC said that they cannot do anything 'because it is the specs from the factory'.

Nevermind about that, an email have been sent to proton customer care and they are still investigating it.

Hear, hear! My seats produce that sound too, the old tilam spring sound. Having read some comments from fellow members here, I tried my luck having them changed while still under warranty during my last service. The SC has ordered the replacement parts (seats) for me but was informed that it may take a few months before they arrive. It's ok, I can wait. But I'm just wondering if the new seats would just be the same, with the same old tilam noise.

If it is still the same, we are doomed..hehe..
It's very annoying to hear that kruk2 sound, it makes the supposed to be enjoyable ride with Lotus ride & handling become uncomfortable.
