Salam & hello fellow Prevocs.

I recently bought April 2012 Preve CFE (1st batch i think) with only 22,000 km mileage (previous uncle owner)

as of now, the car is still running up to my own satisfaction, currently 27,100km mileage.

Last service done according to the service booklet was 17,549 km on 10 Dec 2014.

my question is, do i need to do major service since the car has passed 36 months, or do i just need to do regular 30,000 km service (according to service booklet)

TQ!

Speaking my mind:

AA
I was driving my son to school on a 2 lanes road. There were 4 cars: 1,2 infront and 3, 4 behind the front 2 cars. I was #4. Car 3 squeezed into my lane, cut into his original lane overtaking car 1. He did it at quite a high speed and without using signal lights. You bet, I was cursing this guy. I don't care how good is he in driving, he should not do such an aggressive overtaking. One question came to mind then. Are the professional F1 drivers good/safe drivers on the road or are they the speedy, careless type on the road?

BB
Noted a hr+min data on the front panel (press the button at the end of the wiper stick a few times). Initially I thought it tells me what is the approximate driving time I have after topping up the petrol. Realised later is the total driving time since I got the car. It is only 50+ hrs. Cannot be, I have used the car for 14 months now. That works out to be 0.1 hr or 6 mins per day. Cannot be. I use the car for at least 30 mins per day.

Maybe disconnecting the battery will reset that? I sent in my car for a checkup in Aug and they checked the battery. So starting from Aug, it works out to be 50/60*60 = 50 mins /day. That is more reasonable.

Cheerio.

For BB, the time will reset by itself once it goes beyond 99:59. Same as Trip Mileage, it will reset back to zero once it goes beyond 999.9km.

I think VT3+ only can be equip with hill hold assist. Any information that latest preve c/w VT3+ have that special assist? My preve Nov 2013 but already have 6 airbags but still not know if equip with VT3 @ VT3+.  Useless when holding in uphill position..

My CFE 2012 can hold up pretty well in uphill position, i rarely need to use the handbrake, unless its very steep like more than 10% inclination.

Btw, anyone want to increase Preve CFE's performance, can view this thread. Thanks smile.gif

wow, that good to hear it can hold up. That happen when using racechip?

So, how do you feel when installed RaceChip in CFE? It is S' or One?
Still using racechip default best setting or already tested to fine tuning for eco & max performance?
Feel free to hear your review about RaceChip in CFE.  thumbup.gif

I also did extra 5 points grounding cable with full copper. I think that is the effect on the improvements of idle forward/reverse speed.

As for RaceChip, its the latest version, 'One'. Right now, i'm setting 2 notch up from default. I don't have time yet for dynotune. Since i'm selling now, might dont have any chance to fine tune. cry.gif

Acceleration and pickup tremendously improved. This video shows it, 7.8 secs 0-100kmh (according to speedometer) Preve CFE acceleration

Did a better timing at 7.5 secs after getting better insulation coil plug & EXSS Works exhaust but i didn't upload it yet. Lazy sweat.gif

Whether from standstill or during cruising, acceleration and pickup feels much more oomph.
