WOW, I had been climbing from V1 to V23, do skipped some in the middle, very glad to see so many Shifu generously sharing your kind opinions.

I just bought a showroom unit made 2013 Turbo version. 4760Km only currently, in the process of loan application currently. Just a few questions, hope any SHIFUs can indulge me

1. It does not come with any warranty card, so I am not sure if I have any warranty, will it not have any warranty if it is considered as a 2nd hand unit? (1st owner Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, not sure if they do any services, noticed the battery is changed. )

2. I was actually given choice of 3 units, and I picked this on the reason as below:-
a. 1st unit has 16k Km, and the interior is v much older, the seats lost is comfort, berbulu and noticeable seat sound when I ride on it
b. 2nd unit has 3760Km milage but the steering felt noticeably heavy and I can't do cornering like the others. Very loud rattling noise when I was on the back seat. The gear does not feel smooth and the car keep shaking when i throttle.
c. 3rd unit is the one I picked, as the steering, breaking, gear all felt comfortable on drive, just some wear and tears interior (like scratches on front passenger arm rest, steering plastic part), missing cover for the handbrake part, but he does promised to replace it for me.
Not sure if I had made the right choice.

3. I am planning to send to SC for a full check on all the parts to identify any possible problems and also to try to fix a few issues like changing engine oil, getting the ECU remapping, mayb if possible ask for the seat cover replacement as all starts to show sign of berbulu, the suspension felt quite hard when i drive over a high bumper without slowing much(I do felt less bumby on a SLyphy), and there is less rattling noise but still it is there when driving even on normal road surface.

4. Any recommended SC for Ipoh / Kuala Kangsar region?

Hopefully all will be well. It will be my weekend car/spare care when my old car breakdown and I am currently on a 2001 Saga 1.5L(A).

Sry to have to ask again. I knew it had been asked many times in the forum, i just cant find back the thread about it after reading to v23.

my preve turbo dies when start from traffic light, then shows check engine warning sign and soon the gear warning sign too. no weird sound and driveis smooth aftrrwards.

anyone knows abt which kind of prob? afraid if break during on the way to sc.

UPDATE:
its fix when i send back to SC, they did something via computer, the blame is nt using long start method. no permanent damage claimed by the technician. Finger crossed.
