mean change to hella projector only will benefit us if we use hid? what if i stuck to halogen, or LED instead.
*
Hella is just one of the many good brands.

Stock Preve halogen = bad spread compared to HID and LED.
HID in stock (halogen) projector = please don't do this. The beam scatters all over the place. Performance is worse than stock halogen.
HID (retrofitted) = much superior lighting, clean cut off and the beam goes damn far, on a dark knight the beam is visible around 200m away. Downside, on rainy night, visibility is almost no difference than stock halogen. This leans towards the color temperature. Advisable to get 4300K.
LED in stock (halogen) projector = just a bit better than halogen bulb.
LED (retrofitted) = brighter than retrofitted HID, but the beam does not go as far as HID.

Patut mine not clear at night lul. If foggy, tell them to do what? Clean? Don't prefer to change. I know it's not cheap
*
Preve headlights are cold-sealed (permanent) from the manufacturer (not Proton), so they can't and won't change just the lens. If your car is still under warranty, get them to change the entire headlight assembly.

One side of headlight is around 700+ IIANM.

Refer to the image below, if the glass is not clear, light cannot be projected at optimum level.

Late but as promised.

Nice cut off that won't glare incoming or vehicles in front of me.

If you look carefully, the lens is a bit deeper than the stock halogen projector. You can see the gap between the lens and shroud, and compare it to the stock projector lens.

I know its abit late but i dont have to worry about it anymore.

The cause of the uncomfortable ride was because the tyre pressure was too high for all tyres (over 300 kpa!!)

I pumped my tyres at a petrol stafion with the digigal reading one. It showed 210kpa/220kpa for all 4 tyres

No wonder my steering was too light. Too light that i tot i was driving a myvi.

A month later i pumped again only knew that my tyre pressure was too damn high.

Some pump out there really cannot pakai one

Hopefully this absorbers all can last until at least 100k km
*
Always pump when your tyre is cold. I always go to a petrol station near my home around 300m at 7am.

2.5 years old.

But what i noticed almost all Preve have tgat issue. Is that normal or what. It is actually not foggy as far as i can see clearly but it looks similar to magnifier / camera lens look where you cannot see the inside but far from foggy. I donno how to explain this sorry if you dont get what i mean
*
Need to discern actual foggy or looks foggy.

Most of the times the reflection may make the lens look foggy.

For actual foggy, it looks frosted like a blind man's cornea.

Just noticed some noises on the way to work today, more prevalent at right side. Suspect either alternator or timing belt doh.gif

I'm gonna change my current 215/45/17 to 215/50/17, test drove a Suprima with that setup and it's not as bad as I thought when driving on potholes.

It's just a minor mistake on their part, your warranty isn't going to be affected since all the itemized billings are in their system anyway.

Ya i already need to check the belt, despite it not giving any warning..
Did not happen to me on dasbhboard issues.. Good luck with yours..
*
Dashboard rattling is a common sign of really worn out engine mounting.

For how much were you charged for replacing timing belt? Did you change the auxiliary belt too?

I just noticed this car omce in a while has to be driven aggressively once in a while. For the past 2 months i have been driving very slowly to save FC. But this week i started to do heavy acceleration and drive fast (safely). I noticed the pickup the accleration and the drive feel is improved. FC also not much different. Also. All the accleration never exceeded 3k rpm I donno is this is technical related or just a temporary effect. Any comment SportyHandling
*
'Optimum' speed to drive around in this car is 80kmh (2k rpm) to 120kmh (2.5k rpm).

Hi preve headlamp replacement cost how much?

Consider wear and tear no warranty right?
*
Headlamp or the bulb? Bulb costs RM20-RM30, brand new headlamp unit costs 700+

go looking for aftermarket waterpump like NWP, Paraut, and GMB. Price range between rm80 - rm150, for non-cfe & cfe type.
Better change this part when replacement of timing belt. Manufacturer waterpump can be use up to 2nd time timing belt replacement,
BUT waterpump seal cannot.
*
Going to change the timing belt, auxiliary belt and water pump outside since my warranty is going to expire in 3 months.

If cost of replace the projector inside is too high,, think it would be better just get a new headlamp assy.

Either from the proton parts centre sdn bhd..or internet:
https://www.lelong.com.my/proton-preve-genu...7-01-Sale-I.htm

and might as well replace a new pair of headlamp..
*
Might as well retrofit with xenon or LED projectors brows.gif

If you didn't play with camber setting before, it's unlikely to go wrong. It's usually the alignment.
